Ares je velmi speciální a citlivý pes, plný lásky pro ty, kteří si zaslouží jeho důvěru 🩵. Narodil se v březnu 2023, je pitbull s hmotností pod 25 kilogramy a má jedinečné rysy: prognatismus, což znamená, že jeho dolní čelist vyčnívá dále než horní čelist.-- Přišel do shelteru, protože jeho majitel už nemohl za něj pečovat a projevil některé tvrdé chování vůči jeho rodině. Podle toho, co víme, Ares nedostal vhodné výchovu nebo sociabilizaci s lidmi nebo jinými pohody. Prožíval většinu času na terase bez dostatečné pozornosti, což vedlo k chování, které nikdo nevěděl jak řešit.-- Jeho první dny ve shelteru byly velmi těžké – byl nejistý a chtěl držet mezi námi vzdálenost. Postupně, s velkým trpělivostí a porozuměním, začal důvěřovat svým pečovatelům. Když pochopil, že nás staráme a ukazujeme mu lásku, jeho postoje se plně změnila a objevili jsme pozorného a velmi laskavého Aresa. Na začátku měl potíže s chodem na kočárku, ale teď chodí dobře a bez tažení.-- Má osobnost, kterou stojí za to objevit; potřebuje čas, prostor, pochopení a aby jste mu ukázali, že jste jeho přítel a ne někdo, koho musí odmítat. V hřišti, když je volný, zůstává blízko a reaguje, když ho někdo zavolá.-- Stále pracujeme na zlepšení jeho nejistoty vůči cizím lidem, protože může skočit, pokud se cítí ohrožen, zejména při procházce. Také má potíže s přijetím jiných pohod v první fázi. Shelter – s všemi stresy, omezeným časem, který mu můžeme věnovat a nedostatkem trénéra – není ideální místo pro plné rozvoj jeho vzdělání, i když děláme všechno možné.-- Ares potřebuje zkušenou a oddanou rodinu, která bude pokračovat v jeho výchově s pomocí trenéra psa a pracovat na jeho sociabilizaci, abychom předešli problémům v budoucnu. Ideálně by měl jít do domova, který není přímo v centru města a má přístup k přírodě, kde se může cítit klidně. Prozatím věříme, že je lepší, pokud bude jediný pes v domě, ale může se zvažovat, že by mohl žít s jiným psem, pokud bude ten pes sociální a dobře se choval, s vhodnými zavedeními pomoci Aresovi se přizpůsobit.-- Pokud chcete poznat jeho postupně, přijďte do shelteru a strávejte s ním čas. Ares is a very special and sensitive dog, full of affection to give to those who earn his trust 🩵. He was born in March 2023, is a pitbull weighing under 25 kilos, and has a unique feature: prognathism, which means his lower jaw sticks out further than his upper jaw.-- He came to the shelter because his owner could no longer take care of him and had shown some harsh behavior toward her family. From what we know, Ares didn’t receive proper training or socialization with people or other dogs. He spent most of his time on a terrace with little attention, which led to behavioral issues that no one knew how to handle.-- His first days at the shelter were very difficult—he was insecure and wanted to keep his distance from us. Little by little, and with a lot of patience and understanding, he began to trust his caregivers. When he realized that we were taking care of him and showing him love, his attitude completely changed, and we discovered an attentive and very affectionate Ares. At first, he struggled to walk on a leash, but now he walks well and without pulling.-- He has a personality that’s worth discovering; he just needs time, space, understanding, and for you to show him that you are his friend and not someone he needs to distrust. In the play yard, when he’s off-leash, he stays close and responds when called.-- We are still working to improve his insecurity around strangers, as he might lunge if he feels threatened, especially during walks. He also finds it difficult to relate to other dogs at first. The shelter—with all the stress it brings, the limited time we can dedicate to him, and the lack of a dedicated trainer—is not the ideal place to fully advance his education, though we are doing everything we can.-- Ares needs an experienced and committed family who will continue his training with the help of a dog trainer and work on his socialization to avoid problems in the future. Ideally, he should go to a home that is not right in the city center and has access to nature, where he can feel calm. For now, we believe it’s best if he is the only dog in the home, though it could be considered for him to live with another dog if that dog is sociable and well-behaved, with proper introductions to help Ares adjust.-- If you want to get to know him gradually, come to the shelter and spend time with him. You might discover that you could be life companions and give Ares the family and love he so deeply deserves… and that he, with his big heart, is eager to give back.-- **A PPP license is required, and follow-up visits will be carried out after adoption to ensure that Ares is living happily.
