Koda by mohl být znovu upraven s dětmi staršími 13 let. Chtěl by být jediným psem ve svém domě. Mohl by žít s kočkami nebo jinými malými zvířaty, i když nemáme historii jeho chování vůči těmto zvířatům. Koda je skvělý kluk. Je přátelský a odvážný chlapík, který se vždy těší setkání s lidmi a všechny uvítá s nadšením! Je plný života, má rád procházky, strávení času se svými lidmi a hraní si s hračkami – jeho oblíbenou je pravděpodobně míče. Je také typický buldogg a může být náročný – zpomalí, pokud rozhodne, že chce jít jinou cestou na procházce! Koda ukázal, že spíše nechce interagovat s jinými psy a není ochoten, když se k němu rychle přibližují, bude potřebovat majitele, kteří budou pro něj nastupovat a pochopí, že pravděpodobně nikdy nebude velmi sociální pes k okolním psem. Koda potřeboval operaci, aby měl lehčí dech. I když operace proběhla dobře, jakékoli možné budoucí problémy by mohly být považovány za předchozí onemocnění a nebudou pokryty pojistkou pro zvířata. Tým pro znovuadoptování bude diskutovat o medicínské historii Kody s úspěšnými žadateli. Koda by měl vytvořit rodinu, která je obeznámena s jeho plemenem. Je to velmi typický francouzský buldogg a nemáme žádné pochybnosti, že udělá svou pevnou rodinu velmi šťastnou! Koda is looking for an adult-only home. He would like to be the only dog in the home, but could potentially live with cats or other small animals, although we have no history of his behaviour around such animals. Koda is a lovely little lad who enjoys socialising with his human friends. He’s an enthusiastic boy and even greets strangers as if they’re his best friend! He absolutely loves getting out and about on his walks and also enjoys playing with his toys – particularly balls or soft toys. Koda has been a well-behaved lad whilst in our care but did display some challenging behaviours whilst in a foster home. He can sometimes struggle to regulate his big feelings and can make some silly choices, resulting in undesirable behaviours. He needs an experienced home who are capable and confident in managing Koda’s behaviours whilst continuing to work on his ongoing training to help him learn some more appropriate responses and better outlets for his feelings. Koda’s foster family describe him as a clever, lively boy with bags of personality and so much love to give. He absolutely loves to play, especially with his ball, but once playtime is over he’s equally happy snoozing beside you or settling down for the evening. He’s housetrained, travels brilliantly in the car and is good with visitors. Koda can become over-excited during play, but his foster family have learnt to recognise his signals and help him settle before it becomes too much. He can also be anxious on walks and is reactive towards other dogs, so he’ll need a family who can continue working with him patiently and at his pace. His foster family say Koda takes a little longer to get to know – but once you understand how he works, you’ll discover a funny, affectionate and incredibly rewarding little dog. Koda has undergone BOAS and NARES surgery. Any potential rehomers should be aware that, if he were to have any future related issues, these are likely to be classed as a pre-existing condition and won’t be covered by pet insurance. The rehoming team will discuss Koda’s veterinary history in further detail with any successful applicants.
