Koda potrebbe essere adottato da bambini di età 13 anni in su. Vorrebbe essere l'unico cane in casa. Potrebbe convivere con gatti o altri animali piccoli, anche se non abbiamo un history del suo comportamento intorno a tali animali. Koda è un ragazzo meraviglioso. È un ragazzone amichevole e estroverso, sempre contento di conoscere la gente e che saluta tutti con entusiasmo! È pieno di vita, ama uscire e girare in passeggiata, trascorrere tempo con i suoi umani e giocare con i suoi giochi - il suo preferito sembra essere le palle. È anche un tipico Bulldog francese e può essere testardo - mettendo il freno se ha deciso che vuole andare in una direzione diversa durante le sue passeggiate! Koda ha dimostrato che preferisce non interagire con altri cani e non è interessato quando si avvicinano velocemente, avrà bisogno di proprietari che lo difendano e rispettino il suo spazio e che apprezzino il fatto che probabilmente non sarà mai un cane molto sociale intorno ad altri canini. Koda ha bisogno di un intervento chirurgico per aiutarlo a respirare con più facilità. Anche se l'intervento è andato bene, qualsiasi potenziale adottatore deve sapere che eventuali problemi futuri saranno considerati una condizione pre-esistente e non saranno coperti dall'assicurazione per animali domestici. Il team di adozione discuterà in modo più dettagliato la storia medica di Koda con i candidati approvati. Koda trarrebbe vantaggio da una famiglia che conosce il suo allevamento. È un tipico Bulldog francese e non abbiamo dubbi che farà molto felice la sua famiglia per sempre! Koda is looking for an adult-only home. He would like to be the only dog in the home, but could potentially live with cats or other small animals, although we have no history of his behaviour around such animals. Koda is a lovely little lad who enjoys socialising with his human friends. He’s an enthusiastic boy and even greets strangers as if they’re his best friend! He absolutely loves getting out and about on his walks and also enjoys playing with his toys – particularly balls or soft toys. Koda has been a well-behaved lad whilst in our care but did display some challenging behaviours whilst in a foster home. He can sometimes struggle to regulate his big feelings and can make some silly choices, resulting in undesirable behaviours. He needs an experienced home who are capable and confident in managing Koda’s behaviours whilst continuing to work on his ongoing training to help him learn some more appropriate responses and better outlets for his feelings. Koda would also rather not interact with other dogs and so he needs a family who can respect this and advocate for him and his space in the outside world. This cheeky chap desperately needs a family who can offer him the time, patience and commitment he needs. He will undoubtedly require consistent training from his new family and needs an experienced home who can provide him with the understanding, structure and boundaries he needs. We know that, for the right family, Koda has so much potential to make a fantastic addition and will reward them immensely for giving him the life he deserves. Koda has undergone BOAS and NARES surgery. Any potential rehomers should be aware that, if he were to have any future related issues, these are likely to be classed as a pre-existing condition and won’t be covered by pet insurance. The rehoming team will discuss Koda’s veterinary history in further detail with any successful applicants.
