Ele é amigável e extrovertido, sempre feliz em conhecer pessoas e cumprimenta todo mundo com entusiasmo! Ele é cheio de vida, adora sair e andar, passar tempo com seus humanos e brincar com seus brinquedos – o seu favorito parece ser bolas. Ele também é um Bulldog típico e pode ser teimoso – colocando os freios se ele decidiu que quer ir por um caminho diferente em suas caminhadas! Koda demonstrou que prefere não interagir com outros cães e não gosta quando eles correm até ele, ele vai precisar de donos que possam defendê-lo e seu espaço e apreciar que ele provavelmente nunca será um cão muito social ao redor de outros caninos. Koda precisou de cirurgia para ajudá-lo a respirar mais facilmente. Embora a cirurgia tenha dado certo, qualquer possível problema futuro está provavelmente classificado como condição pré-existente e não será coberto pelo seguro veterinário. Koda is looking for an adult-only home. He would like to be the only dog in the home, but could potentially live with cats or other small animals, although we have no history of his behaviour around such animals. Koda is a lovely little lad who enjoys socialising with his human friends. He’s an enthusiastic boy and even greets strangers as if they’re his best friend! He absolutely loves getting out and about on his walks and also enjoys playing with his toys – particularly balls or soft toys. Koda has been a well-behaved lad whilst in our care but did display some challenging behaviours whilst in a foster home. He can sometimes struggle to regulate his big feelings and can make some silly choices, resulting in undesirable behaviours. He needs an experienced home who are capable and confident in managing Koda’s behaviours whilst continuing to work on his ongoing training to help him learn some more appropriate responses and better outlets for his feelings. Koda would also rather not interact with other dogs and so he needs a family who can respect this and advocate for him and his space in the outside world. This cheeky chap desperately needs a family who can offer him the time, patience and commitment he needs. He will undoubtedly require consistent training from his new family and needs an experienced home who can provide him with the understanding, structure and boundaries he needs. We know that, for the right family, Koda has so much potential to make a fantastic addition and will reward them immensely for giving him the life he deserves. Koda has undergone BOAS and NARES surgery. Any potential rehomers should be aware that, if he were to have any future related issues, these are likely to be classed as a pre-existing condition and won’t be covered by pet insurance.
