Poprvé jsme Petra spatřili na rušné silnici se svou sestrou kolem Vánoc roku 2023. Když jsme je viděli, nakrmili jsme je, protože ještě neměli být schopni přijímat psy. On a jeho sestra byli vždy spolu a my jsme je vídali na různých úsecích této silnice, když jsme jim přinášeli jídlo. Jednoho dne jsme našli pouze Petra a bylo zřejmé, že se sám potýká; i když jsme ho při našich návštěvách krmili, hubl. Diane si ho nemohla nechat, protože se bála, že by se ztratil stejně jako jeho sestra, a tak ho vzala zpět do rodinného domu, kde nyní zůstává.

We first spotted Peter on a busy road with his sister around Christmas of 2023. We fed them when we saw them as we still weren't supposed to be taking in dogs. Him and his sister were always together and we would see them on different sections of the road when we went to feed them. One day we could only find Peter and it was obvious he was struggling on his own and despite us feeding him when we saw him, he was losing weight. Diane couldn't leave him fearing he would go missing like his sister so took him back to the family home where he now stays.
