Vi såg Peter för första gången på en livligt trafikerad väg tillsammans med sin syster runt jul 2023. Vi gav dem mat när vi såg dem, eftersom vi fortfarande inte fick ta in hundar. Han och hans syster var alltid tillsammans, och vi såg dem på olika sträckor av vägen när vi åkte dit för att mata dem. En dag kunde vi bara hitta Peter, och det var uppenbart att han kämpade ensam. Trots att vi matade honom när vi såg honom, gick han ner i vikt. Diane kunde inte lämna honom, eftersom hon var rädd att han skulle försvinna som hans syster, så hon tog med honom tillbaka till familjehemmet, där han nu bor.

We first spotted Peter on a busy road with his sister around Christmas of 2023. We fed them when we saw them as we still weren't supposed to be taking in dogs. Him and his sister were always together and we would see them on different sections of the road when we went to feed them. One day we could only find Peter and it was obvious he was struggling on his own and despite us feeding him when we saw him, he was losing weight. Diane couldn't leave him fearing he would go missing like his sister so took him back to the family home where he now stays.
