DUSTIN South Wales Adoption Fee £350 Male (Standard – 13kg) 4 years old on Christmas Day Black & Tan, smooth coat Neutered Dustin is a truly special boy who is looking for a tranquil place to call home. He is a very communicative and affectionate companion who thrives on human connection and cuddles. He has bags of personality and loves to play, particularly with a ball, as well as enjoying walks with his family in quiet areas. He is getting better and better at disengaging from dogs he spots in the distance, so continuing his training will be important. Dustin needs a quiet and calm home where someone is around most of the time, ideally with adults or older children. Since moving to Wales, he has really flourished in a peaceful countryside setting, although he does struggle when separated from his people. He therefore needs a patient family who can provide a calm environment and continue working with him at his own pace. Dustin currently lives with other dogs and could potentially benefit from the company of one calm, older and smaller dog, subject to a successful introduction. Having a steady companion could provide him with some reassurance and stability as he continues to build his confidence. Dustin is currently on medication to help manage his anxiety, which has already reduced. Any ongoing medication required for his anxiety will be funded by The Red Foundation. Behavioural support will also be available to his adopters, ensuring they have support throughout his transition into his new home. In the right environment, Dustin’s expressive personality, loving nature and devotion to his people will truly shine. He will be an incredibly rewarding companion for a quiet and dedicated family.
