He requires a patient, adult-only home where his family is prepared to provide a calm atmosphere and commit to his ongoing training. He currently lives with dogs and would find a calm, female dachshund to be a helpful companion, offering him a sense of stability as he learns to navigate the world. Dustin is currently undergoing a pain trial for potential discomfort in his back legs and hips. He is also starting on anti anxiety medication to help him navigate moving to a new home. To ensure he remains happy and healthy, any ongoing medical treatment required for this will be funded by The Red Foundation, furthermore, behavioural support is available to assist his new adopters, ensuring everyone feels supported through his transition.
