18-04-26 Coan ist ein lieber Junge, der zu uns aus einem Züchter gekommen ist, um sein Zuhause für immer zu finden. Als er ankam, litt er unter Glaukom und leider musste seine linke Augen entfernt werden, aber er erholt sich gut und hat dadurch nicht verlangsamt. Er hatte auch eine Zahnbewegung und hat nicht viele Zähne übrig. Er ist ein sehr süßer kleiner Mann, aber er ist immer noch etwas nervös mit Menschen und braucht Zeit und Geduld, um sein Selbstvertrauen aufzubauen. Er ist noch nicht daran gewöhnt, behandelt zu werden, also braucht er ruhige, verständnisvolle Adoptiveltern, die ihm erlauben, seinen eigenen Rhythmus zu gehen und ihn nicht zu beeilen. Mit Zeit, Freundlichkeit und Sicherheit wird er beginnen, sich sicher zu fühlen und seine wahre, zärtliche Natur zeigen. Coan verlässt sich stark auf seine Käfigfreunde für Selbstvertrauen, also braucht er mindestens einen weiteren netten und geduldigen Hund in seinem neuen Zuhause, um ihm dabei zu helfen, sich einzuleben und zu lernen, dass die Welt nicht so schrecklich ist. Da Coan noch nie zu Hause gelebt hat, braucht er Unterstützung bei allen Grundlagen, einschließlich des Stubenreinseins und Lernens, wie man an der Leine geht. Seine neue Familie sollte bereit sein, ihn sanft durch diese neuen Erfahrungen zu führen. Er könnte mit älteren, hundekundigen Teenagern gehalten werden, die die Bedeutung verstehen, ihm Raum zu geben, während er sich anpasst. Coan ist ein wirklich süßer Junge, er braucht nur ein geduldiges und liebevolles Zuhause, in dem er seine Zeit hat, sein Selbstvertrauen gewinnt und sich sicher fühlt. Coan hat einen Reisedokument. Dieser Hund kann mit einem vorhandenen Hund gehalten werden.

Coan is a lovely boy who has come to us from a breeder to find his forever home. When he arrived, he was suffering with glaucoma and unfortunately did need to have his left eye removed, but he has recovered well and hasn’t let this slow him down. He has also had a dental and now has very few teeth remaining and has been treated for a ear infection. Since arriving at Many Tears, Coan has come on leaps and bounds. He has taken everything in his stride and, now that he is feeling much better, he is more than ready to move on to the next stage of his life in a loving home. He is a very sweet little man who has grown in confidence and is now much more comfortable around people. While he can still be a little sensitive at times, he is enjoying gentle interaction and is showing just how lovely he truly is. He remains especially fond of other dogs and is even more confident in their company. Coan relies on other dogs for reassurance, so he will need at least one kind and patient resident dog in his new home to help him continue building confidence and to show him that the world isn’t so scary. As Coan has never lived in a home before, he will still need some support with the basics, including house training and settling into a home environment. He is becoming increasingly confident wearing a harness and will happily walk out with both staff and volunteers, which is wonderful progress. He could be homed with older, dog-savvy teenagers who understand the importance of giving him space while he adjusts. Coan is a truly sweet older gentleman who has shown great resilience and progress during his time with us. He is now ready to enjoy the comfort and security of a loving home, where he can continue to grow in confidence and be a much-loved companion.. Coan has a travel document. This dog can be homed with a resident dog. This dog can be homed with cats.
