18-04-26 Coan er en flink gutt som har kommet til oss fra en avlere for å finne sitt evige hjem. Da han ankom, hadde han glaukom og måtte dessverre få fjernet øyet sin venstre, men han gjennomgår godt og har ikke la dette bremse ham. Han har også hatt en tannbehandling og har ikke mange tenner igjen. Han er en veldig søtt liten mann, men han er ennå litt redd for mennesker og vil trenge litt tid og tålmodighet for å bygge opp selvtilliten sin. Han er ikke vant til å bli berørt, så vil trenge rolige, forstående adoptører som er glade i å la ham gjøre det etter egen takt og ikke presse ham. Med tid, venlighet og trygghet vil han begynne å føle seg sikker og vise sitt sanne, kjærlige natur. Coan avhenger sterkt av sine kassevenner for selvtillit, slik at han vil trenge minst én annen god og tålmodig hund i sitt nye hjem for å hjelpe ham å ta seg til og lære at verden ikke er så skremmende. Siden Coan aldri har levd i et hjem før, vil han trenge støtte med alle grunnleggende ting, inkludert trening innendørs og å lære å gå på snor. Hans nye familie skal være klare til å lede ham forsiktig gjennom disse nye opplevelser. Han kan bli hjemme hos eldre, hundekompetente unge som forstår viktigheten av å gi ham rom mens han justerer seg. Coan er en virkelig søt gutt, han trenger bare en tålmodig og kjærlig familie der han kan ta sin tid, vokse i tillit og føle seg trygg. Coan har en reisepass. Denne hunden kan bli hjemme sammen med en hund i huset.

Coan is a lovely boy who has come to us from a breeder to find his forever home. When he arrived, he was suffering with glaucoma and unfortunately did need to have his left eye removed, but he has recovered well and hasn’t let this slow him down. He has also had a dental and now has very few teeth remaining and has been treated for a ear infection. Since arriving at Many Tears, Coan has come on leaps and bounds. He has taken everything in his stride and, now that he is feeling much better, he is more than ready to move on to the next stage of his life in a loving home. He has recently moved to a wonderful foster home where he is settling in well and learning all about home life for the very first time. He especially loves his food and eats with great enthusiasm and has affectionately been described as a greedy boy, so food will definitely be the way to his heart. He is a very sweet little man who has grown in confidence and is now much more comfortable around people. While he can still be a little sensitive at times, he is enjoying gentle fuss and is showing just how lovely he truly is. Coan will be looking for a calm and quiet home, where he can settle in at his own pace. He could be homed with older, dog-savvy teenagers who understand the importance of giving him space while he adjusts. He relies on other dogs for reassurance, so he will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in his new home to help him continue building confidence. He loves to play with the other dogs in his foster home and would love his new friends to want to play with him. As he had never lived in a home before moving to foster, he will need kind and understanding adopters who will be patient as he adjusts to home life and starts learning all about house training. He is becoming increasingly confident wearing a harness and when he was at the rescue he would happily enjoy going for walks with both staff and volunteers as long as he had another dog by his side, which is wonderful progress. Coan is a truly sweet older gentleman who has stolen everyones hearts during his time with us and is more than ready to find his perfect forever home. Coan has a travel document. This dog can be homed with a resident dog. This dog can be homed with cats.
