„Hallo, mein Name ist Gizmo! Ich bin ein Bewohner des Hull Animal Welfare Trust und bin bereits seit einer längeren Zeit hier. 😔 Mir hier in den Käfigen gefällt es nicht schlecht, aber es kann manchmal sehr laut sein, da die anderen Hunde bellen und es den ganzen Tag viel los ist, also wäre es schön, einen ruhigeren Ort zu finden, an dem ich den Rest meines Lebens verbringen könnte. 😊 Ich hatte vor meiner Zeit bei Hull Animal Welfare eine schlechte Erfahrung, ich wurde von meinem Besitzer in einer Wohnung zurückgelassen und die Angst, nicht zu wissen, wann jemand wiederkommen würde, war sehr belastend. 😓 Aus diesem Grund mag ich es nicht mehr, alleine gelassen zu werden und benötige jemanden, der sehr ruhig und geduldig ist und meine Sorgen verstehen und mit mir arbeiten kann, damit ich mich besser fühle. 😔 Ich liebe Freiheit und Spaziergänge und es macht mir viel Spaß, beschäftigt zu sein und ich liebe es zu schnüffeln!! Die ‚Menschen‘ beim Hull Animal Welfare Trust waren sehr nett und haben mir geholfen, mehr zu entspannen und ruhiger zu werden. 😊 Wenn Sie mich kennen lernen, werden Sie sehen, dass ich ein glücklicher Junge bin, der nur möchte, dass jemand ihn liebt und er ihn auch liebt. 💙“ ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. Da Gizmo eine unbekannte Vergangenheit hat und ein energischer junger Mann ist, der etwas Zeit, Geduld und Verständnis benötigt, können wir ihn nicht mit Kindern zur Adoption freigeben. Er könnte mit einem anderen Hund leben, vorausgesetzt, es passt und die Begegnung war erfolgreich. Er wurde noch nicht mit Katzen oder Kleintieren getestet. Wir suchen ein besonderes Zuhause für Gizmo. Aufgrund der langen Zeit, die er nun bei uns ist, und nach zwei verschiedenen Heimen, in denen er wieder abgegeben wurde, konnten wir ein besseres Bild davon erhalten, welches Zuhause und welches Leben Gizmo geeignet sind. “Hi my name is Gizmo! I am a resident at Hull Animal Welfare Trust and I have been a resident here for quite some time now. 😔 I don't mind it too much here at the kennels, but it can be quite noisy with the other dogs barking and a lot of comings and goings all day so it would be nice to find a quiter place where I can spend the rest of my days. 😊 I had a bad experience beofre coming to Hull Animal Welfare, I was abandoned by my owner in a flat and the anxiety of not knowing when someone was coming back for me was very upsetting. 😓 Because of this I don't like being left alone anymore and would need someone very calm and patient that can understand my worries and work with me to start feeling better. 😔 I love having freedom and being out and about on walks and keeping busy and i loooovve sniffing!! The ‘humans' at Hull Animal Welfare have been very kind and have been helping me to learn to relax more and be calm. 😊 Once you get to know me you will see that I am a happy boy who just wants to love someone and them to love me back. 💙” ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. As Gizmo has an unknown past and he can be quite a bouncy lad who requires some time, patience and understanding, we cannot rehome him with children. He may be able to live with another dog subject to the right match and successful meet and greets. He is untested with cats and small animals. We are looking for a special kind of home for Gizmo. Due to having him with us for quite some time now, and after going out to two different homes and being returned, we have been able to get a better idea of the sort of home and life that Gizmo would be suited to. Gizmo does not cope well with being in a home environment and we believe this is most likely due to his history of being abandoned in a property. When he is in a home environment he becomes incredibly stressed and frustrated and displays some behaviours that are difficult to manage. Gizmo surprisingly copes really well in his kennel and is always calm and relaxed when in there. We are looking for a home for Gizmo where he can be given similar kennel living arrangements with a view to slowly and gradually get him used to coming indoors and being comfortable being inside a house. He is an intelligent and driven boy who would be ideal for someone who wants to do some kind of scent or trail work as he enjoys being physically and mentally active.
