« Bonjour, je m'appelle Gizmo ! Je suis résident au Hull Animal Welfare Trust et je suis ici depuis un certain temps maintenant. 😔 Je ne m'y plains pas trop dans les cages, mais c'est assez bruyant avec les autres chiens qui aboient et beaucoup d'allées et venues toute la journée, donc ce serait bien de trouver un endroit plus calme où je pourrais passer le reste de mes jours. 😊 J'ai eu une mauvaise expérience avant de venir à Hull Animal Welfare, j'ai été abandonné par mon maître dans un appartement et l'anxiété de ne pas savoir quand quelqu'un reviendrait me chercher était très dérangeante. 😓 À cause de cela, je n'aime plus être seul et aurais besoin de quelqu'un de très calme et patient qui puisse comprendre mes inquiétudes et travailler avec moi pour que je me sente mieux. 😔 J'adore avoir la liberté et être en promenade et rester occupé et j'adore surtout renifler !! Les « humains » du Hull Animal Welfare ont été très gentils et m'ont aidé à apprendre à me détendre davantage et à être calme. 😊 Une fois que vous me connaissez, vous verrez que je suis un jeune homme heureux qui veut aimer quelqu'un et qu'on l'aime en retour. 💙 » ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. Comme Gizmo a un passé inconnu et qu'il est un peu bondissant et qu'il a besoin de temps, de patience et de compréhension, nous ne pouvons pas le placer avec des enfants. Il pourrait vivre avec un autre chien, sous réserve d'une bonne compatibilité et de rencontres réussies. Il n'a pas été testé avec les chats et les petits animaux. Nous recherchons un type particulier de foyer pour Gizmo. En raison de l'heure à laquelle il est avec nous depuis un certain temps maintenant, et après avoir été placé dans deux maisons différentes et avoir été renvoyé, nous avons pu avoir une meilleure idée du type de foyer et de vie qui conviendrait à Gizmo. “Hi my name is Gizmo! I am a resident at Hull Animal Welfare Trust and I have been a resident here for quite some time now. 😔 I don't mind it too much here at the kennels, but it can be quite noisy with the other dogs barking and a lot of comings and goings all day so it would be nice to find a quiter place where I can spend the rest of my days. 😊 I had a bad experience beofre coming to Hull Animal Welfare, I was abandoned by my owner in a flat and the anxiety of not knowing when someone was coming back for me was very upsetting. 😓 Because of this I don't like being left alone anymore and would need someone very calm and patient that can understand my worries and work with me to start feeling better. 😔 I love having freedom and being out and about on walks and keeping busy and i loooovve sniffing!! The ‘humans' at Hull Animal Welfare have been very kind and have been helping me to learn to relax more and be calm. 😊 Once you get to know me you will see that I am a happy boy who just wants to love someone and them to love me back. 💙” ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. As Gizmo has an unknown past and he can be quite a bouncy lad who requires some time, patience and understanding, we cannot rehome him with children. He may be able to live with another dog subject to the right match and successful meet and greets. He is untested with cats and small animals. We are looking for a special kind of home for Gizmo. Due to having him with us for quite some time now, and after going out to two different homes and being returned, we have been able to get a better idea of the sort of home and life that Gizmo would be suited to. Gizmo does not cope well with being in a home environment and we believe this is most likely due to his history of being abandoned in a property. When he is in a home environment he becomes incredibly stressed and frustrated and displays some behaviours that are difficult to manage. Gizmo surprisingly copes really well in his kennel and is always calm and relaxed when in there. We are looking for a home for Gizmo where he can be given similar kennel living arrangements with a view to slowly and gradually get him used to coming indoors and being comfortable being inside a house. He is an intelligent and driven boy who would be ideal for someone who wants to do some kind of scent or trail work as he enjoys being physically and mentally active.
