Norma ist ein sanfter Mastin-Mischling, der jetzt wieder in unserem Pflege ist, weil ihre Besitzer gesundheitlich beeinträchtigt sind. Sie war die letzten zwei Jahre Teil einer liebevollen Familie, und diese Änderung geht nicht auf ihr eigenes Konto. Norma ist etwa fünf Jahre alt und lebt derzeit mit Lily (AAR 2469). Sie misst etwa 116 cm von Nase bis Schwanz, ist ca. 83 cm groß und wiegt 50 kg. Norma ist gechipt, kastriert, vollständig geimpft und hat ihren Ausweis, was bedeutet, dass sie bereit ist, in ein neues Zuhause in Spanien oder, sofern nicht anders angegeben, sonst in Europa zu reisen. Als Norma in ihr vorheriges Zuhause kam, war sie sehr still und scheu, da sie vor ihrer Adoption Zeit in einem Zwinger verbracht hatte. Mit Geduld, Stabilität und der Gesellschaft von Lily wuchs sie bald an Sicherheit und passte sich dem Familienleben an. Norma genießt Spaziergänge und, obwohl sie zunächst etwas unsicher sein mag, entspannt sie sich nach ein paar Minuten und geht gut an der Leine. Sie mag keine sehr langen Spaziergänge und kann manchmal etwas steif in den Beinen wirken, was sie älter erscheinen lässt, sodass sie am glücklichsten ist mit einem ruhigeren Lebensrhythmus. Norma liebt es, Zeit im Freien zu verbringen, herumzustreifen, kurz mit einem Ball zu spielen und dann in der Sonne zu entspannen. Sie ist zärtlich und genießt es, nahe bei ihren Menschen zu sein, während sie gleichzeitig ihre Ruhezeit schätzt. Sie ist gut mit anderen Hunden, hat mit Katzen gelebt (obwohl sie ruhige Interaktionen bevorzugt) und war mit sanften Kindern, einschließlich besuchender Enkelkinder, gut zurecht. Norma wird zweimal täglich gefüttert und genießt eine abwechslungsreiche Ernährung. Sie hat nach ihrer Kastration etwas zugenommen und würde von sanftem Bewegung und einer ausgewogenen Routine in ihrem nächsten Zuhause profitieren. Diese süße, empfindsame junge Dame sucht ein ruhiges, verständnisvolles Zuhause, wo sie sich weiterhin sicher und geborgen fühlen kann. Norma würde gerne bei Lily bleiben, wenn möglich, könnte sich aber auch in ein passendes Zuhause mit Geduld, Freundlichkeit und einer friedlichen Umgebung integrieren. Norma is a gentle Mastin mix who is now back in our care due to her owners’ ill health. She has been part of a loving home for the past two years, and this change is through no fault of her own. Norma is around five years old and currently living with Lily (AAR 2469). She measures approximately 116cm from nose to tail, stands around 83cm tall, and weighs 50kg. Norma is microchipped, neutered, fully vaccinated, and has her passport, meaning she is ready to travel to a new forever home in Spain or, unless otherwise stated, elsewhere in Europe. When Norma first arrived in her previous home, she was very quiet and timid, having spent time in kennels before being adopted. With patience, stability, and the companionship of Lily, she soon grew in confidence and settled into family life. Norma enjoys going out for walks and, while she may be a little unsure at first, she relaxes after a few minutes and walks well on the lead. She does not enjoy very long walks and can be a little stiff in her legs at times, often appearing older than her years, so she is happiest with a gentler pace of life. Norma loves spending time outdoors, pottering around the land, playing briefly with a ball, and then relaxing in the sun. She is affectionate and enjoys being close to her people, while also valuing her quiet time. She is good with other dogs, has lived with cats (though she prefers calm interactions), and has been fine with gentle children, including visiting grandchildren. Norma eats twice a day and enjoys a varied diet. She has gained some weight following her spay operation and would benefit from gentle exercise and a balanced routine in her next home. This sweet, sensitive girl is looking for a calm, understanding home where she can continue to feel safe and secure. Norma would love to stay with Lily if possible, but she could also adapt to a suitable home that offers patience, kindness, and a peaceful environment.
