Norma es una mezcla Mastín tranquila que ahora está de vuelta en nuestro cuidado debido a la mala salud de sus dueños. Ha estado en un hogar cariñoso durante los últimos dos años, y este cambio no es por su culpa. Norma tiene unos cinco años y actualmente está conviviendo con Lily (AAR 2469). Mide aproximadamente 116 cm desde la nariz hasta la cola, mide alrededor de 83 cm de altura y pesa 50 kg. Norma está identificada con microchip, esterilizada, completamente vacunada y tiene su pasaporte, lo que significa que está lista para viajar a un nuevo hogar definitivo en España o, a menos que se indique lo contrario, en cualquier otro lugar de Europa. Cuando Norma llegó por primera vez a su anterior hogar, era muy callada y tímida, habiendo pasado tiempo en jaulas antes de ser adoptada. Con paciencia, estabilidad y la compañía de Lily, pronto ganó confianza y se adaptó a la vida familiar. A Norma le gusta salir a pasear y, aunque puede estar un poco insegura al principio, se relaja después de unos minutos y camina bien con la correa. No le gustan los paseos muy largos y a veces sus patas pueden estar un poco rígidas, a menudo pareciendo más vieja de lo que es, por lo que es más feliz con un ritmo de vida más suave. Norma ama pasar tiempo al aire libre, paseando por la finca, jugando brevemente con una pelota y luego relajándose al sol. Es cariñosa y disfruta estar cerca de sus personas, al mismo tiempo que valora su tiempo tranquilo. Es buena con otros perros, ha vivido con gatos (aunque prefiere interacciones tranquilas) y ha estado bien con niños suaves, incluyendo a los nietos que visitan. Norma come dos veces al día y disfruta de una dieta variada. Ha engordado un poco tras su operación de esterilización y beneficiaría de ejercicio suave y una rutina equilibrada en su próximo hogar. Norma is a gentle Mastin mix who is now back in our care due to her owners’ ill health. She has been part of a loving home for the past two years, and this change is through no fault of her own. Norma is around five years old and currently living with Lily (AAR 2469). She measures approximately 116cm from nose to tail, stands around 83cm tall, and weighs 50kg. Norma is microchipped, neutered, fully vaccinated, and has her passport, meaning she is ready to travel to a new forever home in Spain or, unless otherwise stated, elsewhere in Europe. When Norma first arrived in her previous home, she was very quiet and timid, having spent time in kennels before being adopted. With patience, stability, and the companionship of Lily, she soon grew in confidence and settled into family life. Norma enjoys going out for walks and, while she may be a little unsure at first, she relaxes after a few minutes and walks well on the lead. She does not enjoy very long walks and can be a little stiff in her legs at times, often appearing older than her years, so she is happiest with a gentler pace of life. Norma loves spending time outdoors, pottering around the land, playing briefly with a ball, and then relaxing in the sun. She is affectionate and enjoys being close to her people, while also valuing her quiet time. She is good with other dogs, has lived with cats (though she prefers calm interactions), and has been fine with gentle children, including visiting grandchildren. Norma eats twice a day and enjoys a varied diet. She has gained some weight following her spay operation and would benefit from gentle exercise and a balanced routine in her next home. This sweet, sensitive girl is looking for a calm, understanding home where she can continue to feel safe and secure. Norma would love to stay with Lily if possible, but she could also adapt to a suitable home that offers patience, kindness, and a peaceful environment.
