Pirata adoptieren

Pirata came to us from Los Barrios shelter while they had flooding from the terrible rains, and first he was not sure what is happening but then he saw our green doggie parks and hit face lit up with a big sunny smile! Pirata loves the company of people, and always have a smile from ear to ear on his face when a volunteer approaches his kennel and it is time to go for a walk! Pirata is a huge baby and believe it or not, he loves to sit on your lap! When it is time for his physiotherapy session, he takes advantage and crawls into the lap of the physiotherapy assistant. Pirata also loves sofas, snacks and running in high grass. We love his big pancake face and his wiggly butt and his big puppy eyes when it’s time to beg for snacks! He is a little mouthy, so don’t stick your fingers in his face without paying attention or he might end up using your finger as a tootpick! Even though he is big lovebug, our Baby Buttercup, we are looking for a home for Pirata without small children, for the safety of Pirata and of children, due to his big mouth! Walking with him is a ZEN experience, he remains calm even when other dogs are growling at him. Pirata is not looking for trouble. He passes other dogs and humans calmly on walks, both around the shelter and also in public spaces, and only tells off a dog who is not respecting his personal space and boundaries. Pirata walks excellently on the leash, and does not bother any strangers, people he meets on the walks, he just calmly keeps walking and thats great, as if he would be a big "hello dog" then he might scare some people with his size, but he just chilled-out keeps sniffing and walking. Pirata has hips displasia and arthrosis in the knees, but that does not stop him at all from going for long walks and running in the park! His body is responding very very well to physiotherapy, CBD oils and good exercise plan, and he is becoming more and more fluid and mobile! Pirata happily receives his CBD and Vitamins drops and even opens his mouth for them. This big boy is looking for a home preferably as an only dog dog, preferably with an experienced owner, who is also looking to take care of him physically and continue with providing Pirata with his physiotherapy sessions that are helping him to live an active and cheerful life! Pirata’s shoulder height is approximately 65cm and he is around 35kg.
