Danilo è stato visto la prima volta a km di distanza da dove poi è stato trovato con il fratello. Si spostava in cerca di cibo e acqua per poi ritornare dal fratellino Donato, rigurgitando quel poco di cibo che riusciva a trovare nelle campagne per farlo mangiare. Le volontarie li hanno trovati insieme, stremati dalla fame e dalla sete. Donato è stato bruciato e incidentato, non aveva più la testa del femore, è stato operato e si sta riprendendo alla grande, forse zoppichera' per tutta la vita e quella cicatrice non andrà più via ma la sua forza, il suo coraggio e la sua gioia di vivere ci dimostrano che l'amore e la felicità non hanno bisogno di 4 zampe perfette, ma solo di un cuore grande.
