Maeve is a wonderful young dog. Her proud posture and composed demeanor are balanced by her playful nature, which makes her both interesting and deeply lovable. She is easygoing, calm, and very cooperative, and she gets along well with both other dogs and cats. She was raised from a very young age, along with her two siblings, in the home of one of our volunteers. She has lived in a home environment, is crate-trained, and uses her crate comfortably and without stress. Overall, she is very well-behaved, knows how to live indoors, and adapts easily. With people, she is well-balanced. At home, she may bark initially at someone unfamiliar, then settles and accepts them, showing natural guarding instincts without excess. She is present, observant, and responds clearly to what is happening around her. Outside the home, she remains neutral. Maeve is very intelligent and food-motivated, which makes her easy to train. She already knows basic commands, something that shows clearly in her behavior. At the same time, she has a very sweet and gentle character. She enjoys affection without being demanding and likes to stay close to her person. She watches, listens, and cooperates. She is one of those dogs who quickly understands what is expected of her. Maeve had been adopted and was living in a home until recently. Her return had nothing to do with her behavior, but with a serious issue within the family. Under different circumstances, they would never have let her go. She is ready for a home. Ready for someone looking for a dog who is intelligent, affectionate, trainable, and easy to live with.
