With people, she is well-balanced. At home, she may bark initially at someone unfamiliar, then settles and accepts them, showing natural guarding instincts without excess. She is present, observant, and responds clearly to what is happening around her. Outside the home, she remains neutral. Maeve is very intelligent and food-motivated, which makes her easy to train. She already knows basic commands, something that shows clearly in her behavior. At the same time, she has a very sweet and gentle character. She enjoys affection without being demanding and likes to stay close to her person. She watches, listens, and cooperates. She is one of those dogs who quickly understands what is expected of her. Maeve had been adopted and was living in a home until recently. Her return had nothing to do with her behavior, but with a serious issue within the family. Under different circumstances, they would never have let her go. She is ready for a home. Ready for someone looking for a dog who is intelligent, affectionate, trainable, and easy to live with.
