Rupert is an 8-year-old Lurcher, believed to be a Whippet x Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross, and he truly is a gentleman in every sense of the word. Rupert already knows his basic manners, happily sits on cue, offers both paws, and has excellent recall. He’s a pleasure to walk, strolling beautifully on the lead, Rupert takes everything in his stride and isn’t fazed by other dogs, making him a wonderfully easy companion to have by your side. He’s incredibly affectionate, thrives on companionship, and will happily soak up all the fuss you’re willing to give. He’s also a very clean boy in his kennel, and his previous owner advised that he is house-trained. Rupert is great at letting you know when he needs to go outside for the toilet, making him an easy dog to welcome into a home environment. Rupert could happily live with dog-savvy children who understand how to respect a dog’s space. He may also be able to share his home with another dog, provided they have a similar calm, easy-going temperament pending successful introductions.
