Uma is still a puppy and has shown mouthing and herding behaviours in the home before. She is a very intelligent girl though and with structure and routine, and understanding owners she is sure to learn her manners. True to her breed, Uma has a high activity level and would love to get out and about for lots of engaging exercise throughout the day. She walks well on lead but is currently a bit worried of handling so will need you to go slow with her when putting the harness on. Uma is still gaining confidence around other dogs and she doesn't like being barked at. She has mixed well with other dogs in our care though, playing chase with them in our enclosed paddocks. Uma loves her food and enrichment as well as her squeaky toys. She is a typical Collie puppy who is missing her home comforts and can't wait to find her forever home. Meet our gorgeous 6 month old Collie, Uma. This sweet girl is looking for an active home who can guide her through puppyhood and help build her confidence. She would prefer to be the only dog in the home for now but can live with smaller pets, as she has lived with them before with no issues. Uma is quite a worried girl at the moment and will need a family who can go slow with her and let her build a relationship in her own time. Because of this, Uma would prefer all children to be secondary school aged and older and know when to give her space.
