Αλμπι είναι ένα μεσαίου μεγέθους σκύλος πολλαπλής φυλής ηλικίας περίπου οκτώ ετών. Ζούσε προηγουμένως με γάτες. Μπορεί να ζει με ή χωρίς άλλα σκύλα. Προτιμάται οικογένεια ενηλίκων. Ο Αλμπι έφτασε στη φροντίδα μας αρχικά το 2021. Είχε προηγουμένως αφεντικευτεί σε ένα πεδίο στη Ρουμανία και είχε σωθεί από ερευνητές εκεί. Είχε αποκτηθεί γρήγορα, αλλά τώρα επέστρεψε πέντε χρόνια αργότερα, επειδή δεν κατάφερε να αδράξει τη ζωή με ένα νεογέννητο βρέφος. Ο Αλμπι είναι καλός με άλλα σκύλα, αλλά δεν είναι πολύ αλληλεπιδραστικός με αυτούς και θα ήταν πολύ ικανοποιημένος ως μόνος σκύλος. Ζούσε προηγουμένως με γάτες. Ο Αλμπι χρειάζεται οικογένεια ενηλίκων, αφού μπορεί να είναι απότομος με ξαφνικές κινήσεις. Λατρεύει τις βόλτες του και αγαπά πολύ τη φροντίδα του. Ο Αλμπι ήταν στη φροντίδα του Norwich Norfolk. Αν ενδιαφέρεστε, παρακαλώ στείλτε μήνυμα ή καλέστε μεταξύ 9 π.μ. - 5 μ.μ. Δευτέρα - Παρασκευή ή 9 π.μ. - 4 μ.μ. Σάββατο. Τα έξοδα απόκτησης για τα μικρά είναι ήδη ορθογενή και όλα τα ενήλικα σκύλα: 430 £. Μη ορθογενή μικρά με συμφωνίες για στερίλωση/ορθογένεση: 530 £ (Θα λάβετε μια επιστροφή 100 £ όταν στείλετε στον οργανισμό μας την απόδειξη της ορθογένεσης). Παλιοί σκύλοι (10+ χρόνια): 150-250 £ (ανάλογα την ηλικία και τις ατομικές ανάγκες). Όροι και Προϋποθέσεις Απόκτησης Όταν αποκτήσετε ένα σκύλο από την Safe Rescue, πρέπει υποχρεωτικά να χρησιμοποιείτε ένα λουρί περιοχής. Αυτό θα προστατεύσει το σκύλο σας: το νέο σας σκύλο θα είναι φοβισμένο και δεν θα εμπιστευτεί τον παραδοσιακό σας τρόπο, και δεν θα ξέρετε ποιες καταστάσεις θα προκαλέσουν το σκύλο σας. Αν το σκύλο σας καταστρεφεί, τότε η μόνη τρόπος να εμποδίσετε το σκύλο σας να φύγει είναι ένα λουρί περιοχής (πολλοί σκύλοι μπορούν να φύγουν από ένα κορδόνι και/ή ένα ρυθμιστικό). Θα χρειαστούν τουλάχιστον 3-6 μήνες για να καταστεί ο σκύλος σας αποκατεστημένος και για να γνωρίσετε πλήρως το σκύλο σας (περισσότερο για φοβισμένους σκύλους). Το λουρί περιοχής πρέπει να χρησιμοποιείται πάντα κατά τη διάρκεια της περιόδου αποκατάστασης. Ακόμη και μετά την αποκατάσταση του σκύλου σας, είναι ασφαλέστερο να χρησιμοποιείτε το λουρί περιοχής σε καταστάσεις όπου ο σκύλος σας μπορεί να φοβηθεί (π.χ. επισκέψεις σε νέες τοποθεσίες, γύρω από ξένα άτομα, στον ιατρό), και σε περιπτώσεις όπου μπορεί να υπάρξουν απροσδιόριστα προκλητικά στοιχεία (π.χ. γύρω από τη νύχτα των φωτισμών). Albie is a medium sized crossbreed aged around eight years old. Previously lived with cats. Can live with or without other dogs. Adult family. Albie came into our care initially in 2021. He’d been previously abandoned in a field in Romania and was saved by rescuers there. He was adopted quite quickly but has now been returned five years on because he’s not adjusted well to life with a new baby. Albie is ok with other dogs but not hugely interactive with them and would be quite happy as an only dog. He has previously lived with cats. Albie needs an adult family as can be jumpy with sudden movements. He enjoys his walks and absolutely loves to be groomed. Senior dogs (10+ years): £150–£250 (depending on age and individual needs). Adoption Terms & Conditions When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night). Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer. Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs. Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a secure metal crate.
