Ο Μπριτσενι είναι ένα μεσαίου μεγέθους, δούλο-μικρό αφονδισμένο ποντίκι της ηλικίας περίπου 3 ετών. Συναντήσαμε τη Μπριτσενι και τη μητέρα της και την αδερφή της όταν επισκεφτήκαμε το δημόσιο καταφύγιο Μποτοσάνι στη Ρουμανία στις αρχές του Οκτωβρίου της προηγούμενης χρονιάς. Οι τρεις ταξίδεψαν στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο για να ξεκινήσουν μια νέα ζωή μακριά από τα τρομακτικά του καταφυγίου, και η μητέρα και η αδερφή της ζουν τώρα ευτυχισμένα στα σπίτια για πάντα. Η Μπριτσενι είναι μια φιλική και ευαίσθητη κοπέλα που είναι υποτακτική και φοβισμένη από τα χέρια αρχικά, αλλά όταν είναι εγκατασταμένη, είναι πολύ χαριτωμένη και αγαπά την προσοχή και την αγκαλιά. Η Μπριτσενι θα χρειαστεί ένα ζώο(α) σκύλο στο νέο της σπίτι. Θα είναι επίσης εντάξει με τα αυτοεπαγριμένα γατιά και τα εντιμα κατοικίδια παιδιά ηλικίας 8 και πάνω. Χρεώσεις Για Αποκτήσεις Από 1 Δεκεμβρίου 2025 είναι Κουταβάκια που έχουν ήδη καταστεί ανίκανα για απογονεύσεις και όλα τα ενήλικα σκύλα: 430 λίρες. Ακαταστεία κουταβάκια με συμφωνίες απογονεύσεων: 530 λίρες (Θα λάβετε ένα ποσό 100 λιρών επιστροφής όταν στείλετε μας την απόδειξη της καταστείας). Παλιοί σκύλοι (10+ χρόνια): 150-250 λίρες (ανάλογα με την ηλικία και τις ιδιαίτερες ανάγκες). Πολιτική Αποκτήσεως Όταν αποκτήσετε ένα σκύλο της Safe Rescue, ΠΡΕΠΕΙ να χρησιμοποιήσετε ένα γρανάζι. Αυτό θα διατηρήσει το σκύλο σας ασφαλή: το νέο σας σκύλο θα είναι φοβισμένο και δεν θα πιστεύει σε σας, και δεν θα γνωρίζετε ποιες καταστάσεις μπορεί να το θορύβει. Αν ο σκύλος σας πανικοβληθεί, τότε το γρανάζι είναι η μόνη τρόπος να αποτρέψετε το σκύλο σας να ξεφύγει (πολλοί σκύλοι μπορούν να ξεφύγουν από ένα λουρί και/ή ένα ζώνη). Θα χρειαστούν τΟΛΜΗΤΑ 3-6 μήνες για να παραμείνει ο σκύλος σας εγκατεστημένος και για να γνωρίσετε τον σκύλο σας πλήρως (μακρύτερος για φοβισμένους σκύλους). Το γρανάζι πρέπει ΠΑΝΤΑ να χρησιμοποιείται κατά τη διάρκεια αυτής της περιόδου εγκατάστασης. Ακόμη και μετά την αποκατάσταση του σκύλου σας, είναι ασφαλέστερο να χρησιμοποιήσετε το γρανάζι σε περιπτώσεις όπου ο σκύλος σας μπορεί να φοβιστεί (π.χ. επισκέψεις σε νέες θέσεις, γύρω από άγνωστα άτομα, στον κτηνίατρο), και σε περιπτώσεις όπου μπορεί να προκύψουν απρόσμενα αιτία (π.χ. γύρω από τη νύχτα των φωτιστικών). Britney is a medium, sized, lab-type crossbreed of around 3 years old. We met Britney and her mum and sister when we visited the Botosani public shelter in Romania at the beginning of October last year. All three travelled to the UK to start a new life away from the horrors of the shelter, and both mum and sister are now happily living in their forever homes. Britney is a friendly and affectionate girl who is submissive and hand-shy at first, but once she is settled she is extremely sweet and loves a fuss and a cuddle. Britney will need a resident dog(s) in her new home. She would also be ok with confident cats and respectful children aged eight and over. Britney fostered in Marlborough Wilshire. If you are interested please message or call between 9am to 5pm Mon – Fri or 9am to 4pm Sat. . Adoption Donation Fees From 1st Dec 2025 are Puppies already neutered and all adult dogs: £430. Un-neutered puppies on spay/neuter contracts: £530 (You will receive a £100 rebate once you send us proof of neutering). Senior dogs (10+ years): £150–£250 (depending on age and individual needs). Adoption Policy When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night). Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer. Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs. Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a crate. Fences and gates must be 5ft min & secure.
