Atlas is a handsome Presa Canario puppy looking for a loving, committed home where he can continue to grow in confidence and enjoy life at his own gentle pace.Relaxed, easy-going and full of cheeky charm, Atlas loves lounging in the sunshine, playing with other dogs and exploring the world around him. He currently lives in foster with a Great Dane and has developed a wonderfully calm outlook, while still being every bit the fun-loving puppy.Atlas is a bright young dog who already knows "sit", "down", "wait" and "leave it", and with a little cheese in your pocket his recall is excellent. He walks well on the lead around people and other dogs and enjoys being off lead in secure fields. From a young age, he has accompanied his foster carer to work, helping him become calm and polite around strangers. He also travels well in the car, loves swimming and has confidently experienced life around children, cats, cattle, horses and lots of different dogs.Atlas in a nutshell:Calm, easy-going and full of cheeky personality.Walks well on the lead and is polite around other dogs.Knows several basic commands and loves learning, especially when cheese is involved.Travels well in the car and enjoys swimming and new adventures.Affectionate but also happy to entertain himself.May be able to live with other dogs and small animals, subject to successful introductions.Like any puppy, Atlas is still going through his chewing phase and can be wonderfully mischievous, proudly carrying off a shoe whenever the opportunity arises. He can also be a little chatty when he is excited or unsure, but responds well to calm reassurance.Although Atlas has had an excellent start to life, he is still very much a puppy with lots of growing and learning ahead of him.
