Black cats are, for some, marvelous miniature panthers, while for others they’re devilish bringers of bad luck. As for us—people who aren’t superstitious—we see our splendid Fransis as nothing more than an adorable all-black kitten with a perpetually curious expression etched on his face. Soft and fond of gentle cuddles, he showed up in August 2018 as a stray in a feline colony in Bagnolo Piemonte—but it was clear at once that he wasn’t a wild cat. So the volunteers caring for the colony decided to have him neutered and start looking for a forever home for him. Unfortunately, fate had a cruel trick in store for Fransis—and for us, who’d already fallen deeply in love with him: feline leukemia. Fransis has no idea what FELV is, which is precisely why he’s holding onto hope so tightly that there’s a family out there ready to welcome him. I gatti neri sono per alcuni meravigliose pantere in miniatura e per altri diabolici portatori di jella. Noi che non siamo superstiziosi pensiamo che il nostro splendido Fransis non sia altro che un adorabile gattone tutto nero con una perenne espressione curiosa dipinta sul muso. Morbido e amante delle coccole gentili, si è presentato, ad agosto del 2018, come randagio in una colonia felina di Bagnolo Piemonte anche se si capiva che non era un gatto selvatico; così le ragazze che si occupano della colonia hanno deciso di farlo castrare e di cercargli una famiglia. Purtroppo il destino aveva un brutto scherzo in serbo per Fransis e per noi che già ci eravamo innamorate di lui… la leucemia felina. Fransis non sa cosa sia la FELV per questo spera tanto che la fuori ci sia una famiglia pronta ad accoglierlo.
