Λίντσι είναι ένα 7 μηνών πρόβατο που νομίζουμε ότι θα γίνει μεσαίου μεγέθους αλλά τα γονεϊκά της είναι άγνωστα. Η Λίντσι έφτασε στη φροντίδα μας πρόσφατα από το δημόσιο καταφύγιο Botosani στη Ρουμανία. Είναι μια ήρεμη κοπέλα που ξεκίνησε με δύσκολα στοιχεία στη ζωή της, αλλά έδειξε τόσο θάρρος και δύναμη κατά τη διάρκεια της διαδρομής της. Μετά την αποκατάστασή της από ένα σπασμένο πόδι, τώρα τα πάει πολύ καλά και αναμένεται να γίνει πλήρης αποκατάσταση. Αν και είναι λίγο απρόθυμη κατά την γνωριμία με τα νέα άτομα, η θερμή και παιχνιδιάρικη της φύση γρήγορα βγαίνει στην επιφάνεια όταν νιώσει ασφαλής. Θα ήταν τυχερή να είναι το μόνο σκύλο στο νέο της σπίτι, αλλά αυτό δεν είναι απαραίτητο και μπορεί να ζήσει με παιδιά ηλικίας 12+. Η Λίντσι περιμένει πολύ χρόνο για την ευκαιρία της και τώρα είναι έτοιμη να βρει το ιδανικό της σπίτι. Η Λίντσι υποδέχτηκε το North Walsham, Norfolk. Χρεώσεις Για Αποκτήσεις Από 1 Δεκεμβρίου 2025 είναι Κουταβάκια που έχουν ήδη καταστεί ανιόντα και όλα τα ενήλικα σκύλα: £430. Μη-καταστειρωμένα κουταβάκια σε συμφωνίες αποκατάστασης/καταστείρωσης: £530 (Θα λάβετε έκπτωση 100 £ όταν στείλετε μας την απόδειξη της καταστείρωσης). Προχωρημένοι σκύλοι (10+ χρόνια): £150–£250 (ανάλογα με την ηλικία και τις ιδιαίτερες ανάγκες). Όροι και Προϋποθέσεις Απόκτησης Όταν αποκτήσετε ένα σκύλο της Safe Rescue, ΠΡΕΠΕΙ να χρησιμοποιήσετε ένα λουρί διακοπής. Αυτό θα κρατήσει το σκύλο σας ασφαλή: το νέο σας σκύλο θα είναι άγριο και δεν θα εμπιστεύεται σας, και δεν θα ξέρετε ποιες καταστάσεις μπορεί να ενοχλήσει το σκύλο σας. Αν το σκύλο σας επιτεθεί, τότε το λουρί διακοπής είναι η μόνη τρόπος να αποτρέψετε το σκύλο σας να ξεφύγει (πολλοί σκύλοι μπορούν να ξεφύγουν από περιβολιά και/ή ασφάλιστρο). Θα πάρει τουλάχιστον 3-6 μήνες για να εισαχθεί ο σκύλος σας και να γνωρίσετε τον σκύλο σας πλήρως (πολύ περισσότερο για τους άγριους σκύλους). Το λουρί διακοπής πρέπει να χρησιμοποιείται ΠΑΝΤΑ κατά τη διάρκεια αυτής της περιόδου εισαγωγής. Ακόμα και μετά την εισαγωγή του σκύλου σας, είναι ασφαλέστερο να χρησιμοποιείτε το λουρί διακοπής σε περιπτώσεις όπου ο σκύλος σας μπορεί να φοβηθεί (π.χ. επισκέψη σε νέα μέρη, γύρω από ξένα άτομα, στον κτηνίατρο), και σε περιπτώσεις όπου μπορεί να συμβούν απρόσμενα κινητήρια (π.χ. γύρω από τα φωτιά της Πρωτοχρονιάς). Lindsay is a 7 month old pup who we think will grow to be medium sized but parentage is unknown. Lindsay has come into our care recently from the Botosani public shelter in Romania. She is a gentle girl who’s had a difficult start in life, but she’s shown such courage and strength along the way. After recovering from a broken leg, she’s now doing really well and is expected to make a full recovery. Though a little shy when meeting new people, Lindsay’s affectionate and playful side soon shines through once she feels safe. She would be happiest as the only dog in her new home, but this isn’t essential and could live with children aged 12+. Lindsay has been patiently waiting for her chance, and now she’s ready to find her forever home. Lindsay fostered North Walsham, Norfolk. Un-neutered puppies on spay/neuter contracts: £530 (You will receive a £100 rebate once you send us proof of neutering). Senior dogs (10+ years): £150–£250 (depending on age and individual needs). Adoption Terms & Conditions When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night). Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer. Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs. Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a secure metal crate.
