Ο Romeo είναι ένα παχύ μεσαίου μεγέθους σκύλος διαφόρων φυλών, ηλικίας περίπου 6 ετών. Δεν έχει ακόμα δοκιμαστεί για την συμπεριφορά του προς τα γάτα. Μπορεί να ζήσει με θηλυκά σκυλιά ή ως μόνο σκύλος. Ευγενικά παιδιά 10 και άνω. Έχει έρθει πρόσφατα στη φροντίδα μας από το Δημόσιο Κέντρο Αναζήτησης Botosani στη Ρουμανία. Γνωρίζουμε αυτό το κοριτσάκι για περισσότερο από δύο χρόνια τώρα και το ξεβόλεψαμε σε αρκετές διαδρομές στο Κέντρο. Πάντα ήταν τόσο χαρούμενος που μας έβλεπε και ήταν πολύ καλός άνθρωπος για έξω. Είναι πολύ φιλικός και αυτοπεποίθηση. Ο Romeo θα ζήσει πολύ ευτυχισμένα με θηλυκά σκυλιά ή με πολλά θηλυκά σκυλιά, αλλά θα ηταν επίσης ικανοποιητικό να είναι ο μόνος σκύλος στο σπίτι. Μπορεί να ζήσει με ευγενικά παιδιά ηλικίας 10 και άνω. Ο Romeo αποτελεί μέλος του Νόρφολκ Νορθάμπιρ. Αν ενδιαφέρεστε, στείλτε μήνυμα ή καλέστε μεταξύ 9:00 - 17:00 Παρασκευή - Παρασκευή ή 9:00 - 16:00 Σάββατο. Τα Τέλη Υιοθέτησης είναι Πρόσφατα τεσταρισμένα κουτάβια και όλα τα ενήλικα σκυλιά: 430 £. Μη τεσταρισμένα κουτάβια σε συμβόλαια τεσταρισμού: 530 £ (Θα λάβετε ένα έκπτωση 100 £ όταν στείλετε μας αποδεικτικό τεσταρισμού). Ενήλικα σκυλιά (10+ χρόνια): 150-250 £ (ανάλογα με την ηλικία και τις ιδιαίτερες ανάγκες). Όροι και Προϋποθέσεις Υιοθέτησης Όταν υιοθετήσετε ένα σκυλί από την Safe Rescue, πρέπει να χρησιμοποιήσετε ένα λουρί. Αυτό θα κρατήσει το σκυλί σας ασφαλές: το νέο σκυλί θα είναι φοβισμένο και δεν θα έχει εμπιστοσύνη σε εσάς, και δεν θα ξέρετε ποιες καταστάσεις θα μπορούσαν να το ενοχλήσουν. Αν το σκυλί σας χάσει τον έλεγχό του, τότε το λουρί είναι η μόνη πιθανότητα να αποτρέψετε το σκυλί να δραπετεύσει (πολλά σκυλιά μπορούν να δραπετεύσουν από το τροχαλάκι και/ή την τσεπελιά). Θα χρειαστεί ΤΟ ΕΛΑΧΙΣΤΟ 3-6 μήνες για να κατακτήσει ο σκύλος και να ξέρετε πλήρως το σκυλί σας (μεγαλύτερο για φοβισμένα σκυλιά). Το λουρί πρέπει ΠΑΝΤΑ να χρησιμοποιηθεί κατά την περίοδο διαμονής. Ακόμα και μετά τη διαμονή του σκύλου σας, είναι ασφαλέστερο να χρησιμοποιήσετε το λουρί σε καταστάσεις όπου το σκυλί μπορεί να φοβηθεί (π.χ. επισκέψεις σε νέες τοποθεσίες, γύρω από ξένα άτομα, στον κτηνίατρο), και σε περιπτώσεις όπου ξαφνικά κινδύνοι μπορεί να συμβούν (π.χ. γύρω από το φωτιά νύχτας). Φοβισμένα σκυλιά μπορεί να χρειαστεί πάντα να φορούν ένα λουρί ως δεύτερο μέτρο ασφαλείας. Το λουρί είναι ένα μέσο ασφαλείας και πρέπει ΠΟΤΕ να μην χρησιμοποιηθεί ως μέσο εκπαίδευσης. Χρησιμο

Romeo is a chunky medium sized crossbreed aged around six years old. Not yet cat tested. Can live with female dogs or as an only dog. Respectful children 10 plus. He has come into our care recently from the Botosani public shelter in Romania. We’ve known this boy for over two years now and walked him on several trips to the shelter. He’s always been so happy to see us and a really nice boy to take out. He’s very friendly and confident. Romeo could live very happily with a female dog or dogs but would also enjoy being the only dog in the home. He could live with respectful children aged ten plus. Senior dogs (10+ years): £150–£250 (depending on age and individual needs). Adoption Terms & Conditions When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night). Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer. Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs. Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a secure metal crate.
