Τάρα είναι ένα μικρό ή μεσαίου μεγέθους σύνθετο φυλή περίπου 12 ετών. Ζούσε με γάτες προηγουμένως. Μπορεί να ζει με ή χωρίς κατοικούντες σκύλους. Ενήλικη οικογένεια και προσεχτική από ορισμένους ανδρες. Τάρα έρχεται στη φροντίδα μας πριν αρκετά χρόνια. Αναδόθηκε μαζί με δύο άλλα από τα σκυλιά μας, αλλά τα τρία πρόσφατα έπρεπε να γυρίσουν σε μας, καθώς οι φροντιστές τους αντιμετωπίζουν απροσδιόριστα υγειονομικά προβλήματα που τους εμποδίζουν να φροντίσουν τα σκυλιά. Η Τάρα ζούσε με γάτες και σκύλους, αλλά θα ήταν ευχαριστημένη να είναι το μόνο σκύλο στο σπίτι. Λατρεύει τις βόλτες της και είναι σε καλή υγεία για την ηλικία της. Θα χρειαστεί μια ενήλικη οικογένεια και μπορεί να είναι προσεχτική από ορισμένους ανδρες. Η Τάρα φροντιστήκε από την Norwich Norfolk. Αν ενδιαφέρεστε, στείλτε μήνυμα ή καλέστε από 9πμ έως 5πμ Δευτέρα - Παρασκευή ή από 9πμ έως 4πμ Σάββατο. Τα έξοδα αδολοποίησης για τα τελευταία πρόσφατα τελευταία: £430. Ανεμβολούμενα τελευταία με σχεδιασμό για αδολοποίηση: £530 (Θα λάβετε έκπτωση 100 λιρών όταν στείλετε την απόδειξη αδολοποίησης). Ανεμβολούμενα τελευταία (10+ χρόνια): £150-£250 (ανάλογα την ηλικία και τις ειδικές ανάγκες). Όροι και Προϋποθέσεις Αδολοποίησης Όταν αδολοποιήσετε ένα σκύλο της Safe Rescue, πρέπει απαραίτητα να χρησιμοποιήσετε αναδιπλούμενο βραχιόλι. Αυτό θα κρατήσει τον σκύλο σας ασφαλή: ο νέος σας σκύλος θα είναι ενοχλημένος και δεν θα ξεπεράσει την απορία σας, και δεν θα γνωρίζετε ποιες καταστάσεις μπορεί να ενοχλήσει τον σκύλο. Αν ο σκύλος σας φοβιστεί, τότε το αναδιπλούμενο βραχιόλι είναι η μόνη πιθανότητα να αποτρέψει τον σκύλο από την έξοδο (πολλοί σκύλοι μπορούν να φύγουν από κράνος και/ή ζώνη). Θα χρειαστούν τουλάχιστον 3-6 μήνες για να εξοικειωθεί ο σκύλος σας και να γνωρίσετε τον σκύλο σας ολοκληρωτικά (μακρύτερος για νευρικούς σκύλους). Το αναδιπλούμενο βραχιόλι πρέπει πάντα να χρησιμοποιείται κατά την περίοδο εξοικείωσης. Ακόμη και μετά την εξοικείωση του σκύλου σας, είναι πιο ασφαλές να χρησιμοποιείτε το αναδιπλούμενο βραχιόλι σε περιπτώσεις όπου ο σκύλος μπορεί να φοβιστεί (π.χ. επισκέψεις σε νέους τόπους, γύρω από ξένους ανθρώπους, στον ιατρό), και σε περιπτώσεις όπου μπορεί να συμβούν απρόσμενα κινητήρια (π.χ. γύρω από τη νύχτα του φωτισμού). Tara is a small to medium sized crossbreed aged around twelve years old. Lived with cats previously. Can live with or without resident dogs. Adult family and wary of some men Tara originally came into our care several years ago. She was rehomed along with two other of our dogs but they have sadly all had to come back to us recently as their adopters unexpected health issues means she can no longer care for them. Tara has lived with cats and dogs but could happily be the only dog in the home. She loves her walks and is in good health for her age. She will need an adult family and can be wary of some men. Adoption Donation Fees are Puppies already neutered and all adult dogs: £430. Un-neutered puppies on spay/neuter contracts: £530 (You will receive a £100 rebate once you send us proof of neutering). Senior dogs (10+ years): £150–£250 (depending on age and individual needs). Adoption Terms & Conditions When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night). Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer. Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs. Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a secure metal crate.
