Προσωπικότητα:Γνωρίστε τον Υοδα, το δυνατό και χαρισματικό μεγάλο αδελφό. Ο Υοδα βρέθηκε στη φροντίδα μας χωρίς καμία ένοχή του, αγαπά τους ανθρώπους του και τις περιπλανήσεις (συχνά νομίζοντας ότι είναι ένας καθιστός σκύλος!!). Ο Υοδα μπορεί να είναι ΠΟΛΥ ισχυρός στο σκοινί, και χρειάζεται να συνεχίσει την εκπαίδευση για το χαλαρό σκοινί στο νέο του σπίτι. Ο Υοδα αγαπά τις μακρινές περιπάτους, το παίξιμο με την μπάλα ή τα μαλακά παιχνίδια του. Συμπεριφορά:Ο Υοδα είναι ένας πολύ φιλικός, πολύ μεγάλος κούρας που βρίσκεται τώρα σε πρόγραμμα απώλειας βάρους, το οποίο θα πρέπει να συνεχιστεί στο σπίτι μέχρι να φτάσει στο σωστό βάρος. Είναι δύσκολο για τον Υοδα να αντεπεξέλθει στις κλειστές θέσεις, αλλά λαμβάνει πολύ άνεση από τους φίλους του ανθρώπους. Αγαπά ένα καλό μασάζ/προσοχή και να είναι δίπλα στις εμπιστευτικές του άτομα. Ο Υοδα έχει υποστεί αρνητικές εμπειρίες με άλλα σκύλια, τα οποία τώρα έχουν οδηγήσει στο ότι είναι λίγο φοβισμένος και κλαίει όταν βλέπει άλλα σκύλια σε μια περιπλάνηση. Θα έχει ωφέλεια από έναν ιδιοκτήτη με εμπειρία σε μεγάλα σκύλια που έχουν ισχυρό χαρακτήρα, αν και δεν είναι απαραίτητο. Κατοικία:Ο Υοδα θα χρειαστεί ένα μεγάλο ασφαλές κήπο για να ανακαλύψει και ένα άνετο κρεβάτι σε ηρεμικό μέρος του σπιτιού. Ο Υοδα μπορεί να πάσχει από ελαφριά ανησυχία από την αποχώρηση στο σπίτι, αλλά παλιότερα έμεινε μόνος για έως 2 ώρες. Αυτό θα πρέπει να αυξηθεί σταδιακά σε ένα νέο σπίτι. Παιδιά/κτήνη:Ο Υοδα θα πρέπει να είναι το μόνο σκύλο στο σπίτι. Δεν μπορεί να ζει με γατιές. Ο Υοδα μπορεί να ζει με παιδιά πρωτοβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης που είναι συνηθισμένα σε μεγάλα φυλετικά σκύλια. Ιατρικό ιστορικό:Ο Υοδα είναι στην ημερομηνία των εμβολιασμών και της θεραπείας για τα κουράδια και τα καταβολικά. Θα πρέπει να επιστρέψει στο φιλανθρωπικό κέντρο για τον κεφαλοκοπισμό του μετά την εγκατάστασή του. Χρέωση αποκτήσεως:Η χρέωση αποκτήσεως είναι 220 λίρες. Αν θέλετε να κάνετε μια πρόσθετη δωρεά πάνω από τη χρέωση αποκτήσεως, θα το προσέξουμε πολύ. Πρόσθετες πληροφορίες:Όλα τα μισθωμένα και με προορισμό ιδιοκτησίες θα απαιτήσουν γραπτή έγκριση από τον ιδιοκτήτη ή τον αγεντή της ιδιοκτησίας. Αυτό πρέπει να υπάρχει πριν την ολοκλήρωση της φόρμας αίτησης. Αν η αίτησή σας είναι επιτυχημένη, το προσωπικό θα ζητήσει ένα αντίγραφο. Personality:Meet Yoda, our lovely gentle boy. Yoda found himself in our care due to no fault of his own, he loves his human friends and having cuddles (sometimes thinking he is a lap dog!!). Yoda can be strong on the lead when he wants to greet a doggy friend, but generally walks very well. Yoda loves going for walks, playing fetch with a ball playing with his teddies. Behaviour:Yoda is a very friendly, affectionate boy who had been finding the kennels quite stressful, so we would love to see him in his forever home asap. He loves a good massage/fuss and being around his trusted people. He would benefit from an owner experienced with large bully breeds although not essential. Yoda has recently started some medication to help with some resource guarding behaviours noticed in a foster home. This is currently being managed well and we are hoping once fully settled in a home with adopters who are prepared to follow our behaviour modification plan, this behaviour will continue to improve. We would advise he remains on this medication until fully settled in his new home. If you are interested in learning more about Yoda, we would love to chat to you. Housing:Yoda will need a good sized secure garden to explore. He is a dog that likes to be near you, however he can currently be left for up to 3 and a half hours and settling well when left. This will have to be built up gradually in a new home. Children/pets:Yoda will need to be the only dog in the home. He cannot live with cats because of his prey drive. Yoda would prefer a quieter home but could cope with occasional visiting older children. We have noticed that Yoda’s resource guarding can be triggered when the house becomes busier/nosier, and this is why we think he would cope better in a quieter household. Vet history:Yoda is up to date with his vaccinations and flea and worm treatment. He will need to come back to the shelter to be neutered once he has settled. Adoption fee:The adoption fee is £220. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated. Additional information:All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form.
