Alba, nuestra chica sonriente, llegó a nosotros sin microchip y con 1000 garrapatas en su piel y pelaje, fue bastante trabajo quitarlas todas de su espeso pelaje suave. Desde el momento en que llegó, fue fácil ver lo dulce y amable que es Alba, es una de las perras grandes más suaves que hemos tenido nunca en el refugio... Alba ama a las personas, y se funde en manos de los voluntarios - siempre parece sonreír. Le encanta caminar muy cerca de ti, y luego acostarse frente a ti para detenerte para caricias en la barriga. Cuando la acaricias, puede quedarse en el mismo lugar durante horas, cerrando los ojos y disfrutando de tu cercanía. Pero también tiene un lado juguetón! Cuando Alba va a pasear al parque canino, acelera de vez en cuando, da un pequeño salto con sus patas traseras y corre con "zoomies", se detiene, viene a empujarte con su cabeza y te invita a correr con ella juntos. Alba es una chica hermosa, interior y exteriormente. Es tranquila y educada con otros perros, y busca tu apoyo cuando se enfrenta a un perro provocativo/amenazante, no busca problemas. En este momento vive en una jaula individual en el refugio, ya que llegó hace poco, pero seguramente pronto tendrá un amigo perro, o se unirá a un grupo de perros. Alba busca un hogar donde el ritmo de vida no sea tan rápido, le gusta la naturaleza, la tranquilidad, simplemente estar juntos. No le gusta correr y correr, y su energía tranquila y equilibrada se adaptará mejor a una persona tranquila y acogedora. Aunque estamos seguros de que Alba disfrutará aventuras en la naturaleza con su humano, no creemos que el estrés del entorno de una ciudad/pueblo sea su entorno ideal, así que estamos buscando un hogar cerca de la naturaleza para la hermosa Alba, preferiblemente con un espacio al aire libre. Podría ser un solo perro, o unirse a otro perro amigable. Niños educados en la familia, o niños visitantes, pueden ser un plus ya que proporcionan más manos para sus caricias en la barriga. Alba también es muy adecuada para adoptantes mayores, ya que camina muy suavemente con el lazo. Su altura en los hombros es de 72 cm. Alba ya fue probada para enfermedades mediterráneas y recibe medicamento para Leishmaniosis.

Alba, our smiling girl, arrived to us without a microchip and a 1000 ticks on her skin and fur, it was quite a job to get them all off her fluffy thick fur. From the moment she arrived, it was easy to see how gentle and kind of a dog Alba is, she is one of the softest big dogs we have ever had in the shelter... Alba loves humans, and melts in the hands of volunteers - she always looks like she is smiling. She loves to walk next to you very closely, and then lay down in front of you, to stop you for belly rubs. When you caress her, then she can just lay in the same spot for hours, closing her eyes and enjoying your closeness. But the big softie also has a playful side! When Alba goes walking in the dog parks, she picks up the pace every now and then, makes a little hop with her backlegs and runs around with zoomies, stops, comes nudges you with her head and invites you to go zoomie with her together. Alba is a beautiful girl, inside and outside. She is calm and polite about other dogs, and looks for your support when confronted with a provocative/threatening dog, she is not looking for trouble. At the moment she lives in a single kennel in the shelter, as she arrived not so long ago, but for sure very soon she will have a dog friend, or join a group of dogs. Alba is looking for a home where the life rhythm is not that fast, she enjoys the nature, the quietness, the just being together. She does not like to rush rush, and her calm balanced energy would best match with a calm, homey person. Though we are sure Alba will enjoy nature adventures together with her human, we do not think that the stress of a city/town environment would be her ideal surrounding, so we are looking for a home near the nature for beautiful Alba, preferably with an outdoors space. She could be an only dog, or join another friendly dog. Educated children in the family, or visiting children, can be a plus as that provides more hands for her belly rubs. Alba is also very suitable for elderly adopters, as she walks very softly on the leash. Her shoulder height is 72cm. Alba is already tested for Mediterranean diseases and is receiving medicine for Leishmaniosis.
