Amy is a very sweet girl who has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. When she arrived she was understandably feeling quite worried and overwhelmed, but it hasn't taken her long to settle in and start to come out of herself. She has now moved into a foster home where she is learning all about home life for the first time as she has never lived in a home before. She has been a little star and has already made lovely progress. Although unsure, she is happy to be handled and we know with time, love and kindness she will truly flourish. Amy enjoys curling up on the sofa in the evenings with her fosterer and is already starting to trust her. She is learning all about toilet training and is doing really well, with only one accident since she arrived. Amy is very reliant on other dogs for comfort and can get distressed if she doesn't have another dog in the same room as her, so she will absolutely need a home where there was at least one other kind and confident resident dog who would be happy to snuggle up with her. In foster her favourite sleeping position is on top of the resident beagle! Amy travels well in the car and has started to learn all about walking on a lead and harness. This is still quite new to her, but she is doing so well and seems to really enjoy going for walks with her foster family. Amy would be best suited to a calm and quiet home with adopters who have plenty of time to spend with her and help her settle in to her new life. She is already showing what a sweet little soul she is and whoever adopts her is going to adore her! Amy has a travel document. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
