Hola a todos, mi nombre es Archie y aunque sea pequeño en tamaño tengo una personalidad muy grande. He estado últimamente durante los últimos meses en cuidado temporal con dos miembros del centro aquí, y he disfrutado mucho de estar en un entorno cómodo de casa. Esto ha permitido al equipo aprender mucho más sobre mis requisitos para la adopción. Así que aquí va... Necesitaré un hogar bastante especial, tranquilo y con un dueño que me dedique mucho tiempo, paciencia, seguridad y comprensión, ya que soy un pequeño muy nervioso y asustado. No soy el tipo de perro que le gusta ser halagado o acariciado, así que si estás buscando un perro de regazo, no soy yo. Sin embargo, el equipo ha estado trabajando en otras formas de interactuar conmigo y ahora sé el comandó "toque" y me pongo muy emocionado al hacerlo, soy tan buen chico. También me beneficiaría tener un espacio en mi nuevo hogar solo para mí, donde pueda ir si necesito un momento de tranquilidad - mis madres de acogida dicen que me duermo mucho por la noche y me voy a mi cama favorita "igloo". Soy impecablemente limpio en casa, y de hecho me adapto muy bien, así que estaría bien dejarme solo durante un período de tiempo - probablemente me encontrarás dormido bajo tu manta cuando regreses, ya que me encanta estar todo arrimado y caliente. No me gusta la lluvia, el barro, ensuciarme o ser despertado de mi siesta. Una vez que me conozcas y confíes en ti, el verdadero Archie sale a jugar - me encantan mis pelotas miniatura y juguetes de tirar, podríamos divertirnos mucho. Soy realmente inteligente y sé muchos comandos, me encantan las actividades de enriquecimiento y estoy dispuesto a aprender nuevas cosas. Hi everyone, my name's Archie and I may be little in size but have a big personality to make up for it.I have recently spent the last couple of months in Foster care with two staff members from the centre here, and I have loved being in a comfy home environment again. This has allowed the team to learn a lot more about my rehoming requirements.So here goes......I am going to need quite a special home that's nice and quiet with an owner who will give me lots of time, patience, reassurance and understanding as I am a very worried and scared little boy. I am not the type of dog that likes to be fussed or petted, so if you are looking for a lap dog that isn't me I'm afraid. However, the team have been working on other ways of interacting with me and I now know a "touch" command and I get so excited to do this, I'm such a good boy!I would also benefit from having a space in my new home just for me, where I can go to if I need some quiet time - my Foster Mums say I get very sleepy in the evening and will take myself off to my favourite "igloo" bed.I am spotlessly clean in the home, and I actually settle very well so would be fine to leave for a period of time - you will most probably find me asleep under my blanket upon your return as I love getting all snuggly and warm. I am not a fan of the rain, mud, getting dirty or being woken up from my snoozing though!Once I know and trust you the real Archie comes out to play - I just love my special mini sized balls and tug toys, we could have so much fun! I am actually very clever and know lots of commands, love enrichment activities and am keen to learn new things.
