Antecedentes Buddy fue llevado a un río local por su dueño quien quería deshacerse de él. El hombre tenía un arma con él y estaba a punto de dispararle a su perro. Pero afortunadamente alguien vio lo que estaba haciendo y lo detuvo. Buddy estaba en muy mal estado, solo piel y huesos, no podía caminar casi en absoluto. El hombre afirmó que estaba enfermo y fue por eso que quiso matarlo. Pero el rescatador de Buddy no lo permitió y lo llevó al veterinario, quien descubrió que había sido simplemente abandonado y no tenía nada más malo. Aunque parecía viejo en ese momento, se estimó que tenía apenas 2-3 años. Fue colocado en jaulas, donde ha estado durante aproximadamente un año y ha tenido una transformación increíble. Buddy ahora es un malinois fuerte, saludable y energético, listo para hacerse amigo del mejor adoptante, compañero de vida y compañero de aventuras. Características y necesidades Buddy es un gran perro que le gusta hacer cosas. Quiere trabajar, explorar y aprender, y será un excelente compañero de entrenamiento para alguien que tenga el tiempo y la pasión para tener un perro como él. Vivir en jaulas lo tiene perdiendo todo lo que es un malinois, y realmente necesita una nueva oportunidad en la vida. Días aburridos en confinamiento no son para Buddy - es un malinois clásico y necesita un desahogo para su alta energía para ser realmente feliz. Lo necesitará ser entrenado y obtener estimulación mental adecuada para su tipo - todos los días. El malinois es un perro atlético y mentalmente muy fuerte, pero también tiene un lado tierno y sensible y Buddy necesitará guía suave para acostumbrarse a vivir en una casa. Background Buddy was taken to a local river by his owner who wanted to get rid of him. The man had a gun with him, and was about to shoot his dog. But thankfully someone saw what he was doing and stopped him! Buddy was in a terrible condition, just skin and bones – he could barely walk! The man claimed he was sick and that was why he wanted to kill him. But Buddy’s rescuer didn’t let that happen and he was brought to the vet, who found he had simply been starved and there was nothing else wrong with him. And although he looked old at the time, he was estimated to be just around 2-3 years. He was placed in kennels, where he has now been for approximately one year and he has undergone an incredible transformation! Buddy is now a strapping, healthy and energetic maligator, who is ready to make the right adopter his very best friend, soul mate and adventure partner. Character and needs Buddy is a great dog who likes to do things! He wants to work, explore and learn, and he will be an amazing training partner for someone who has the time and passion to own a dog like him. Living in kennels, he is missing out on everything a malinois is, and he really needs a new chance at life. Boring days in confinement is not for Buddy – he is a classic malinois and needs an outlet for his high energy to be really happy! He will need to be trained and get mental stimulation suited to his type – every day! The malinois is an athletic and mentally very strong dog, but they also have a soft, sensitive side and Buddy will need gentle guidance to get accustomed to life in a home. Buddy is friendly and good around people in general. He does make dog friends, but is dominant towards other males and dogs bigger than him. He will chase cats and other small furries. Ideal home Buddy needs an experienced and dedicated adopter – ideally someone who knows his breed, or has done extensive research, and is prepared to invest the time and effort it takes, to own a working dog type. Malinois dogs form an extraordinary bond with their partner and soul mate, they want to be with their human and they will do anything to do what they were bred and trained for. A large secure garden and good walking/training areas nearby is a must. Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped
