Lefteris es llamativo. Lo miras y te preguntas cómo el negro y el blanco perfectos han sido colocados en su cuerpo. No lo confundirías con otro perro, incluso si lo hubieras visto una vez en tu vida. Pero Lefteris también es impresionante por otro motivo. Ha logrado brillar dentro del refugio, revelar su maravillosa personalidad y superar la inseguridad que lo mantuvo alejado durante sus primeros días aquí, cuando llegó del refugio municipal de Krestena. Un cruce de pastor joven con un pelaje grueso y abultado que siempre parece limpio, sin importar cuánta suciedad atraviese. Su expresión puede parecer seria, pero en un momento puede suavizarse y volverse juguetona y despreocupada. Equilibrado, pero alegre. Paciente y tranquilo, pero lleno de curiosidad por todo lo que ocurre a su alrededor. Ansioso por conocer a personas y otros perros, aunque aún un poco reservado. En paseos, Lefteris está feliz. Y lo verás claramente cuando te detengas en algún lugar a la sombra y te sientes. Se acercará a ti, se dará la vuelta y disfrutará el momento contigo. Lo que busca es simple, y debería ser algo que tiene cada perro: una familia que lo haga verdaderamente suyo, que le dé un lugar a su lado, donde pueda tumbarse sobre su espalda y simplemente disfrutar de la vida.

Lefteris is striking. You look at him and wonder how perfectly black and white have been placed across his body. You would not mistake him for another dog, even if you had seen him only once in your life. But Lefteris is impressive for another reason too. He has managed to shine inside the shelter, to reveal his wonderful character, and to move past the insecurity that kept him at a distance during his first days here, when he arrived from the municipal kennel of Krestena. A young shepherd mix with a thick, fluffy coat that somehow always looks clean, no matter how much dirt it runs through. His expression can seem serious, yet in a moment it can soften and turn playful and carefree. Balanced, but joyful. Patient and calm, yet full of curiosity about everything happening around him. Eager to meet people and other dogs, while still a little reserved. On walks, Lefteris is happy. And you will see it clearly when you stop somewhere in the shade and sit down. He will come next to you, roll onto his back, and enjoy the moment with you. What he is looking for is simple, and it should be something every dog has: a family who will make him truly theirs, who will give him a place beside them, where he can lie on his back and simply enjoy life.
