Tristemente, dos de sus hermanos no sobrevivieron. Lisa is an adorable 4-month-old crossbreed with a truly remarkable start to life. She and her five siblings were found abandoned in a cardboard box in Bosnia during freezing conditions when they were just 3 weeks old. Heartbreakingly, two of her siblings didn’t survive. With the help of Islay Dog Rescue and a local Bosnian shelter, Lisa and her three surviving siblings—Louis, Lily, and Lucky—were brought to the UK for a fresh start. Now thriving, Lisa is a happy, healthy, and lively little pup. Although the smallest of the litter at just 2.6kg, she more than makes up for it with her big personality! She’s a fun-loving, energetic bundle who adores attention and will happily demand belly rubs. Lisa is just beginning her big adventure and is looking for a loving home ready to guide her through all aspects of puppy training. Having never lived in a home before, Lisa will need support with toilet training and learning household routines. Staff and volunteers are continuing her socialisation and have started her lead training, and she’s making great progress. She’s friendly with both people and other dogs, and while she hasn’t yet met children, her young age and affectionate nature suggest she could do well in a family home—with supervised interactions, as with any puppy. Many shelter raised puppies may initially be alarmed by everyday household noises that they have not previously been exposed to, such as the TV or hoover, but with re-assurance and patience she should overcome this quickly.
