Prince fue abandonado en las calles pero tenía un gran deseo de amor y afecto y de interactuar con otros perros, por lo que se acercaba a los perros de lead y jugaba con ellos. Alguien intentó atraparlo pero se escondió. Al final fue tranquilizado por las autoridades y enviado a un refugio. Algunos vecinos que estaban acostumbrados a verlo por el pueblo se unieron y se dirigieron a uno de nuestros cuidadores para pedir ayuda y Prince terminó en una casa con muchos otros podencos. Es un chico tranquilo y sensible que tardó un poco en calentarse pero fue muy bueno con los demás perros desde el primer día. Una vez que empezó a sentirse cómodo, quedó claro cuánto ama a las personas también. Le encanta hacer un ovillo en el sofá y disfruta de recibir atención. Se adapta bien al hogar y entra fácilmente en la rutina. Prince fue adoptado en 2025 y se mudó a un hogar localmente en España donde lo hizo muy bien. Debido a un cambio inesperado en sus circunstancias personales, no fue así, por lo que Prince regresó a España en adopción temporal con 8 perros más. Está haciendo muy bien pero realmente necesita un hogar propio. Creemos que preferiría tener compañía canina idealmente. Y una gran ciudad podría ser abrumadora para él, pero pueblos y cualquier lugar más rural le iría muy bien. Es un chico tan dulce, con una nariz muy especial que realmente lo hace destacar. Creemos que Prince podría vivir con niños mayores. Prince está castrado, vacunado y dio negativo en todas las enfermedades mediterráneas. Tiene pasaporte y está disponible para adopción ahora. Prince was abandoned on the streets but was desperate for love and affection and to interact with other dogs, so he was approaching on lead dogs and playing with them. Someone tried to catch him but he disappeared. In the end he was darted by the authorities and sent to a pererra. A few locals who had been used to seeing him around the local town rallied round and approached one of our fosters for help and Prince found himself in a home with lots of other podencos! He’s a gentle sensitive boy who took a bit of time to warm up but was brilliant with the other dogs from day 1. Once he started finding his feet, it was clear how much he loves humans too! He loves a snuggle on the sofa and enjoys being made a fuss off. He settles will in the home and slots into routine easily. Prince was adopted in 2025 and moved to a home locally in Spain where he did really well. Due to an unforeseen change in personal circumstances, that wasn’t meant to be so Prince is back in Spain in foster with 8 other dogs. He is doing brilliantly but really needs a home of his own. We think he’d prefer other doggy companions ideally. And a big city might be a bit overwhelming for him, but towns and anything more rural would suit him just fine. He is such a sweet boy, with the most wonderful dappled nose that really makes him stand out! We think Prince could live with older children.
