Ben on hieno poika, pieni Greyhoundin kokoisena, hän usein jää suuremmista ystävistään pieneksi! Hän oli varovainen koira kun hän ensin tuli, mutta hän on sopeutunut hyvin ja on erittäin ystävällinen. Hän rakastaa kävellämistä muutaman ystävænsä kanssa lähellä olevaan puistoon. Ben on erinomainen ihmisten kanssa, hän tervehtii kaikkia ja nauttii siitä, kun häntä huolletaan, tekemällä tyypillisen Greyhoundin "paineen" lisätäkseen kontaktia. Hän elää täysin elämässään leluillaan ja rakastaa heittämään niitä ympäri kun hän on ilman kiinnitystä, välillä zoomausten keskellä! Ben on erinomainen poika, hän ilahduttaa kaikkia Greyhound-ystäviä ja kuka ei voi vastustaa hänen houkuttelevia silmiään?! Hän on ollut väliaikaisesti uudelleen kotiin, mutta hän ei pidä häiriöitä rauhoittuessaan. Hänen ideaalinen koti tarjoaa riittävästi tilaa hänelle rauhoittua ilman, että häntä häiritset hänen sänkyssään. Ben tarvitsee kotia ilman lapsia, koska hän ei pidä häiriöitä rauhoittuessaan. Hän myös tarvitsee olla ainoa lemmikkö, koska hän voi väijyttää leluista, mutta hän nauttii kävellä muiden Greyhoundien kanssa. Hän on asumustyylissään harjoitettu ja voi olla yksin noin kolme tuntia ilman ongelmia.

Ben is a sweet lad, on the small size for a Greyhound, he’s often dwarfed by his bigger buddies! He was a shy dog when he first arrived but he’s settled very well and is very sociable, he loves to go out for walks with a few of his pals to the nearby park. Ben is great with people, he readily says hello to everyone and enjoys being made a fuss of, doing the typical Greyhound “lean” to encourage more contact. He really comes alive with his toys and loves to throw them around when he’s off lead, in between zoomie bursts! Ben is a super chap, he would delight any Greyhound fan and who can resist those appealing eyes of his?! He has been in our care before and did not enjoy being disturbed when resting. His ideal home will have enough space for him to be able to relax without people having to bother him in his bed. Ben needs a home where any children are older teens who understand that his resting spaces should be respected. He also needs to be the only pet as he can squabble over toys, but he loves walking with other Greyhounds outside of the home. He is house trained and good when spending time alone. Ben does require a specific anallergenic diet as not everything agrees with his tummy.
