Ben è un dolce ragazzo, di piccole dimensioni per un Podenco, spesso sembra piccolo rispetto ai suoi amici più grandi! Era un cane timido quando è arrivato, ma si è adattato molto bene e è molto socievole, ama uscire a passeggio con alcuni dei suoi amici al parco vicino. Ben è ottimo con le persone, saluta subito tutti e gode del fatto di essere accarezzato, fa il tipico "inclinazione" del Podenco per incoraggiare ulteriore contatto. Si anima molto con i suoi giochi e ama lanciarli in giro quando è senza guinzaglio, tra un "zoomie" e l'altro! Ben è un vero gentiluomo, appassionerà ogni fan del Podenco e chi può resistere a quegli occhi così attraenti?! È stato temporaneamente riaccolto ma non ha gradito di essere disturbato durante il riposo. La sua casa ideale dovrà avere abbastanza spazio per permettergli di rilassarsi senza che qualcuno lo disturbi nel suo letto. Ben necessita di una casa priva di bambini poiché non sopporta di essere disturbato nei suoi spazi di riposo. Ha bisogno anche di essere l'unico animale domestico poiché può litigare per i giocattoli, ma gli piace camminare con altri Podenci. È addestrato in casa e può restare solo per circa tre ore senza problemi.

Ben is a sweet lad, on the small size for a Greyhound, he’s often dwarfed by his bigger buddies! He was a shy dog when he first arrived but he’s settled very well and is very sociable, he loves to go out for walks with a few of his pals to the nearby park. Ben is great with people, he readily says hello to everyone and enjoys being made a fuss of, doing the typical Greyhound “lean” to encourage more contact. He really comes alive with his toys and loves to throw them around when he’s off lead, in between zoomie bursts! Ben is a super chap, he would delight any Greyhound fan and who can resist those appealing eyes of his?! He has been in our care before and did not enjoy being disturbed when resting. His ideal home will have enough space for him to be able to relax without people having to bother him in his bed. Ben needs a home where any children are older teens who understand that his resting spaces should be respected. He also needs to be the only pet as he can squabble over toys, but he loves walking with other Greyhounds outside of the home. He is house trained and good when spending time alone. Ben does require a specific anallergenic diet as not everything agrees with his tummy.
