Voluntaryraportti Ruth 07/03/26: Tämä on ensimmäinen kerta, kun kävelen Bena. Hän kohtasi ja oli erittäin hyvä viiden koiran kanssa. Jotkut koirat huudelivat häntä vastaan aidan läpi, mutta hän pysyi rauhalliseksi eikä heittäytynyt tai huudellut, jälleen hän ei heittäytynyt minkään koiran suuntaan laitoksessa. Hänellä on vähän epämiellyttävä vatsa, ehkä vain GSD -stressi. Hän ei halunnut palata takaisin, hän alkoi tehdä siksakia, kun me menimme takaisin laitoksiin ja hän vihki menemään omalle laitokselleen, mietin, että hän on tottunut roikkumaan vapaasti. Arvioitu paino 04/03/26: 27 kg. Voluntaryraportti Raisie 19/03/26: Ben on lämmittelykelpoinen, pehmeä ja erittäin ystävällinen koira. Hän ei vetä enempää, vaan ainoastaan hieman, kun hän saa kiinnostavan hajun, joten yleisesti ottaen hän on helppo kävellä. Hän ei ole erityisen suuri ollakseen perhoskoira ja hän on melko rauhallinen. Hän ei näytä reagoivan muihin koiriin tai kissoihin (mutta hän ei ole oikein testattu).

Volunteer report from Ruth 07/03/26: It’s my first time walking Ben. He met and was very good with 5 dogs. Some dogs were barking at him through the fence but he stayed calm and didn’t lunge or bark, again he didn’t lunge at any of the dogs inside the kennels. He has an upset tummy, maybe just GSD stress. He didn’t want to go back, he started to zig zag when we went back towards the kennels and hated going into his own kennel, I think he’s used to roaming free. Approx weight 04/03/26: 27kgs Volunteer report from Raisie 19/03/26: Ben is a cuddly, gentle and very friendly dog. He doesn't pull much, only a bit when he catches an interesting smell so in general he's easy to walk. He's not very big for being a shepherd and he's quite calm. He doesn't seem to react towards other dogs or cats (but he's not properly tested). Pawgress report from volunteer Liz, June 2026: "Beautiful Ben is the most adorable well behaved dog . Walks well on the lead so affectionate calm no interest in the cats good with the dogs we met . Just a friendly great dog even when I was pulling tufts of fur out of his coat every time he stopped to pee he never bothered. I can’t believe he’s still here "
