Päivitys: 07.11.2025: On kauan aika, kun viimeksi kerroimme hänestä, kun hän oli vielä koirapupsi. Tarkalleen 361 päivää myöhemmin hän on kasvanut kauniiksi ja vaikuttavaksi. Mikään ei ole muuttunut hänen pelostaan – hänen pelonsa ihmisiä ja uusia ympäristöjä. Siksi hänet palautettiin adoptioon jälkeen. Valitettavasti Denver etsii jälleen sitä, joka voi omistaa aikaa, koulutusta ja nähdä hänet sekä sen potentiaalin, jonka hänellä on. Emme voi edes kuvitella, mitä hän kärsi puppukaudessaan. Hän löydettiin yhdessä sisareidensa kanssa – kaikki niistä olivat vähäperäisiä, pelokkaita ja epävarmoja maailmasta. Denver on varovainen, hän katsoo etäältä. Mutta kun pääsee läpi tämän kuoren, löytää herkkä, pehmeä henki, joka hiljaa etsii jotain, johon hän voi tuntea itsensä turvallisesti. Viime viikkojen aikana hän on saanut säännöllistä koulutusta. Hän alkaa hitaasti avautua – hän antaa nyt luottamukseensa koskettaa häntä ja joskus, kun hän ajattelee, että kukaan ei katso, hän alkaa jopa leikkiä. Hänelle sopivan kodin löytäminen voi olla haaste, mutta emme ole antaneet periksi. Mitä Denver tarvitsee on rauhallinen, maaseutuinen koti ilman pieniä lapsia tai äkillisiä muutoksia. Hän tarvitsee jonkun, jolla on pitkäjännitteisyys ja ymmärrystä. Paikka, jossa hän voi voittaa pelonsa askel askeleelta. Description/Updates/Pictures: Update November 2025: It’s been a while since we last posted about him, back when he was just a puppy. Exactly 361 days later, he’s all grown up into a stunning beauty. What hasn’t changed is his fear- his fear of people, fear of new surroundings. That’s also the reason why he was brought back after being adopted. Unfortunately, Denver is once again looking for someone who can dedicate time, training and truly see him and the potential he has. We can only imagine what he went through as a puppy. He was found together with his siblings- all of them skinny, terrified and uncertain of the world. Denver is cautious, he watches from a distance. But once you get past that shell, you’ll find a sensitive, gentle soul who’s quietly searching for someone with whom he can feel safe. In the past weeks he’s getting consistent training. He’s slowly starting to open up- he now lets people he trusts touch him and sometimes, when he thinks no one’s watching, he even starts to play. And with Wednesday, he has found an outgoing friend who helps him overcome his fears. Finding the perfect home for him may be a challenge, but we haven’t given up. What Denver needs is a calm, rural home, without small children or sudden changes. He needs someone who has patience and understanding. A place where he can overcome is fear, step by step. No Caption No Caption No Caption Update January 2025: Update December 2024: Are you ready for some puppy love? These five cuties are our latest addition, and they’ve already stolen our hearts! Meet the money heist gang: DENVER (boy), RIO (boy), PALERMO (boy), TOKYO (girl) and NAIROBI (girl). Almost a month after being abandoned, they‘ve learned to love and trust people again. They love their warm blankets (especially now that it’s getting colder), to play and to cuddle. Let’s make sure Denver, Rio, Palermo, Tokyo and Nairobi don’t grow up in the shelter! The first winter is always tough for these little ones, so maybe they can spend it in the warmth of a loving home?! Give one of these beautiful bully mixes a chance – they deserve it.
