Aggiornamento: 07.11.2025: È passato un po' di tempo da quando abbiamo parlato di lui per l'ultima volta, quando era solo un cucciolo. Esattamente 361 giorni dopo, è diventato un bellissimo esemplare. Quello che non è cambiato è la sua paura - la paura delle persone, la paura dei nuovi ambienti. È anche per questo motivo che è stato riportato indietro dopo essere stato adottato. Purtroppo, Denver sta cercando nuovamente qualcuno che possa dedicargli tempo, addestramento e che lo vedano davvero e riconosca il potenziale che ha. Possiamo solo immaginare cosa abbia attraversato da cucciolo. È stato trovato insieme ai suoi fratelli - tutti magri, terrorizzati e incerti rispetto al mondo. Denver è prudente, osserva da lontano. Ma una volta che si supera quel guscio, si trova un'anima sensibile e dolce che cerca in silenzio qualcuno con cui sentirsi sicuro. Negli ultimi mesi ha ricevuto un addestramento costante. Sta lentamente iniziando a rilassarsi - ora permette alle persone che gli vogliono bene di toccarlo e a volte, quando pensa che nessuno lo stia guardando, inizia persino a giocare. Trovare la casa perfetta per lui potrebbe essere una sfida, ma non abbiamo ancora smesso di provare. Ciò di cui Denver ha bisogno è una casa tranquilla in campagna, senza bambini piccoli o cambiamenti improvvisi. Ha bisogno di qualcuno che abbia pazienza e comprensione. Il primo inverno è sempre difficile per questi piccoli, quindi forse possono trascorrerlo nel calore di una casa amorevole?! Update: 07.11.2025: It’s been a while since we last posted about him, back when he was just a puppy. Exactly 361 days later, he’s all grown up into a stunning beauty. What hasn’t changed is his fear- his fear of people, fear of new surroundings. That’s also the reason why he was brought back after being adopted. Unfortunately, Denver is once again looking for someone who can dedicate time, training and truly see him and the potential he has. We can only imagine what he went through as a puppy. He was found together with his siblings- all of them skinny, terrified and uncertain of the world. Denver is cautious, he watches from a distance. But once you get past that shell, you’ll find a sensitive, gentle soul who’s quietly searching for someone with whom he can feel safe. In the past weeks he’s getting consistent training. He’s slowly starting to open up- he now lets people he trusts touch him and sometimes, when he thinks no one’s watching, he even starts to play. Finding the perfect home for him may be a challenge, but we haven’t given up. What Denver needs is a calm, rural home, without small children or sudden changes. The first winter is always tough for these little ones, so maybe they can spend it in the warmth of a loving home?!
