Actualización: 07.11.2025: Ha pasado mucho tiempo desde que hablamos de él por última vez, cuando era solo un cachorro. Exactamente 361 días después, ahora es todo un bello ejemplar. Lo que no ha cambiado es su miedo, su miedo a las personas, su miedo a los nuevos entornos. Esa es también la razón por la que fue devuelto después de ser adoptado. Lamentablemente, Denver nuevamente busca a alguien que pueda dedicarle tiempo, entrenamiento y realmente verlo y reconocer el potencial que tiene. Solo podemos imaginar lo que pasó como cachorro. Fue encontrado junto a sus hermanos, todos delgados, asustados y sin seguridad en el mundo. Denver es cauteloso, observa desde lejos. Pero una vez que logras atravesar esa cáscara, encontrarás un alma sensible y dulce que busca en silencio a alguien con quien sentirse seguro. En las últimas semanas ha estado recibiendo entrenamiento constante. Está empezando a abrirse poco a poco, ahora permite que las personas que confía lo toquen y a veces, cuando piensa que nadie lo ve, incluso comienza a jugar. Encontrar un hogar perfecto para él puede ser un desafío, pero no hemos abandonado. Lo que necesita Denver es un hogar tranquilo en el campo, sin niños pequeños ni cambios repentinos. Casi un mes después de haber sido abandonados, han aprendido a amar y confiar en las personas nuevamente. Les encantan sus mantas calientes (especialmente ahora que está volviéndose más frío), jugar y acurrucarse. Asegurémonos de que Denver, Rio, Palermo, Tokyo y Nairobi no crezcan en el refugio. La primera nieve siempre es dura para estos pequeños, así que tal vez puedan pasarla en el calor de un hogar amoroso. Update: 07.11.2025: It’s been a while since we last posted about him, back when he was just a puppy. Exactly 361 days later, he’s all grown up into a stunning beauty. What hasn’t changed is his fear- his fear of people, fear of new surroundings. That’s also the reason why he was brought back after being adopted. Unfortunately, Denver is once again looking for someone who can dedicate time, training and truly see him and the potential he has. We can only imagine what he went through as a puppy. He was found together with his siblings- all of them skinny, terrified and uncertain of the world. Denver is cautious, he watches from a distance. But once you get past that shell, you’ll find a sensitive, gentle soul who’s quietly searching for someone with whom he can feel safe. In the past weeks he’s getting consistent training. He’s slowly starting to open up- he now lets people he trusts touch him and sometimes, when he thinks no one’s watching, he even starts to play. Finding the perfect home for him may be a challenge, but we haven’t given up. What Denver needs is a calm, rural home, without small children or sudden changes. They love their warm blankets (especially now that it’s getting colder), to play and to cuddle. Let’s make sure Denver, Rio, Palermo, Tokyo and Nairobi don’t grow up in the shelter! The first winter is always tough for these little ones, so maybe they can spend it in the warmth of a loving home?!
