How many times have you walked past my kennel at the shelter in Szeged, watched me, talked to me, and even offered me treats—treats I never accepted, because I’d never experienced anything like it in Hungary! How many times did I think to myself: “Boy, this is your chance to get out of here—show the Austrian association ‘Emergency Aid for Dogs’ just how wonderful and amazing you really are! Then they’ll definitely take you in and bring you back to Austria!” But all my hope had been dashed over the past two years—time after time, someone else got there first. Then, this July, suddenly I was called in for a vet check—first I didn’t know what they were up to, but then! Yes, then, when I saw the blue EU passport, I knew—I’d made it! This time, I’m on the transport list for Hallein! And that’s exactly what happened: on July 11th, I was allowed to travel to the animal shelter in Hallein—and as soon as I arrived, everyone gave me a little kiss on the hand. You’ve got to make a good impression right from the start with the two-legged staff. And already waiting for me in my kennel was a full food bowl and plenty of water after my long journey. Now I can finally relax and explore the big outdoor run. Soon Anna will be coming over to take photos and videos of me for the website, I heard her say. But before I go any further, let me briefly tell you a bit about myself: I was probably born around 2022, and I’ve now spent two years in the shelter because back then I was found wandering alone on the main road. I’m not boasting about my character, but I really am a very gentle and sweet guy. I don’t just love people—you know, I also get along great with cats, and with other dogs, too—except for a few macho ones who sometimes tease me, but otherwise, no problem at all. I’d love to join a family of two-legged humans who’ve never had a four-legged companion by their side before. So why don’t you just drop by if you’re looking for a bigger friend, and get to know me for yourself? Of course, I’m fully vaccinated, I’ve been tested for Mediterranean diseases, and I’m chipped and neutered—I’m looking forward to seeing you!

Bei Interesse bitte tagsüber oder schreiben ein Mail. Wie oft sind sie an meinem Zwinger im Shelter von Szeged vorbeigegangen, haben mich beobachtet und mit mir gesprochen, mir Leckerlies gegeben, die ich nicht annahm, weil ich so etwas in Ungarn nie kennengelernt hatte. Wie oft dachte ich mir - Junge, das ist jetzt deine Chance hier rauszukommen, zeig dich beim österreichischen Verein "Nothilfe für Hunde" von deiner besten und schönsten Seite - dann müssen sie dich einpacken und mit nach Österreich nehmen - aber all meine Hoffnung platzte die letzten zwei Jahre - immer wieder hatten andere den Vortritt. Doch dann, im Juli dieses Jahres, holte man mich plötzlich zu einem Tierarzt Check - erst wusste ich nicht, was sie mit mir vorhaben - aber dann! - ja dann, als ich den blauen EU Pass sah, wusste ich - ich habs geschafft - diesmal stehe ich auf der Transportliste nach Hallein! Und so war es auch, am 11.7. durfte ich ins Halleiner Tierheim reisen - und als ich ankam, bekamen gleich alle mal einen Handkuss - man muss sich ja von vorne herein gut stehen mit dem zweibeinigen Personal. Dafür stand schon eine volle Futterschüssel und genug Wasser nach der langen Reise in meinem Zwinger. Jetzt kann ich erstmal entspannen und den großen Auslauf erkunden. Dann soll auch schon Anna kommen und mit mir Fotos und Videos machen für die Homepage. habe ich sie sagen gehört. Ganz kurz möchte ich euch aber noch von mir erzählen: Geboren - so schätzt man - sollte ich wohl 2022 sein, 2 Jahre sass ich jetzt im Shelter, weil man mich damals streunend auf der Bundesstrasse aufgegriffen hat. Ich bilde mir ja nichts ein auf meinen Charakter, aber ich bin wirklich ein ganz samrter und lieber Kerl. Ich liebe nicht nur euch Menschen, nein - ich mag auch Katzen und mit anderen Hunden habe ich- bis auf wenige Machos,die mich anmotzen - auch kein Thema. Gerne ziehe ich auch zu Zweibeinern, die noch nie einen Wegbegleiter auf vier Pfoten an ihrer Seite hatten. Aber kommt doch einfach mal vorbei, wenn ihr einen größeren Freund sucht und lernt mich selbst kennen. Ich bin natürlich geimpft, habe einen Test auf Mittelmeererkrankungen und bin gechipt und kastriert - ich freue mich auf euren Besuch.
