Percy voi asua lapsen kanssa, jolla on yli 10 vuotta. Hän etsii sisätiloissa asuvaa kotia. Percy on erinomainen mies, joka on ollut hoitajalla kuukauden ajan. Hänellä oli kirkas arviointi hoitoaikana, ja hänet kuvattiin kaikkein milttömimmäksi pojaksi, joka haluaa olla mukana ihmisten kanssa lähes aina! Hoitaja on sanonut, että hänellä on voimakkaan äänen puristus, jota voidaan kuulla ylhäältä kun hän on alakertaan! Hän on puheeksi viisari, joka puhuu sinulle huomiota varten. Heti kun sinä rentoutut sohvalla tai pöydällä, hän on juuri vieressäsi, painaen ja sulautuen. Hän on hyvin pehmeä mies, joka haluaa olla mukana ihmisten kanssa niin kauan kuin mahdollista! Hoitoaikana hoitohenkilöstö on raportoinut, että hän tulee hieman huolitsevaksi, jos häntä jätetään yksin / jos häntä ei voi löytää ihmisiä, ja hän kävelee ja huutaa, mutta hän lopulta rauhoittuu. Hän on myös herkkä äänille ja voi olla pelokas kovista tai äkillisistä äänistä, joten hän sopii parhaiten rauhalliseen ja hiljaiseen kotiin. Hän ei ole liian kiinnostunut leluista, mutta hän saa haukotella köyttä. Hänellä on hyvä nälkä ja hän rakentaa ruokaa – hän ei ole varovainen ilmoittamaan, kun aika on ruokailuun! On epäilty, että Percyllä on rajoitettu näkyvyys – vaikka hän ei näytä olevan liian huolissaan tästä, hän tarvitsee ymmärtävän kotirakennelman, joka pystyy huolehtimaan hänen tarpeistaan. Koska hänen näkyvyystään on rajoitettu, hän tarvitsee myös sisätiloissa asuvan kotirakenteen. Percy tuli hoitoamme huonossa tilassa, kun epäiltiin, että hänen omistajansa oli kuollut ja hän oli yksin jonkin aikaa. Kiitos ahkeran tiimin, erityisesti hänen hoitohenkilöstönsä, huolellisuudesta, hän on tehty merkittävän parannuksen ja on valmis löytämään täydellisen ikuisen kotirakenteen. Emme epäröi siitä, että tämä iloinen mies tulee olemaan erinomainen lisä ikuiseen perheeseen ja palauttaa heidän rakkautensa ja huolenpitoaan kymmenkertaisena! Percyllä on rajoitettu näkyvyys ja hänellä on lihasten häviämistä takapuolella. Vaikka molemmat ongelmat eivät nykyisin vaikuta hänelle ja hoitoa ei tarvita tällä hetkellä, mahdolliset uudiskohtaukset tulisi pitää silmällä jatkossakin, ja jos hänellä olisi tulevaisuudessa liittyviä ongelmia, ne luokitellaan mahdollisesti olemassa oleviksi sairauksiksi eivätkä ne ole koskevia eläinkulutusvakuutusta. Applications are now closed whilst the rehoming team assess those already received. Percy could live with children aged 10+. He is looking for an indoor-only home. Percy is a wonderful chap who has spent the past month on foster with a member of our team. He has had a glowing report whilst on foster, being described as the sweetest boy who wants to be with his humans most of the time! Our team member has said he has the loudest purr she’s ever heard – it can be heard from upstairs when he’s downstairs! He is a vocal boy who will chat away to you for attention. As soon as you make yourself comfortable on the sofa or in bed, he’s right next to you, kneading away and snuggling in. He’s a very gentle lad who will cuddle with his humans for as long as possible! Whilst on foster, our team member has reported that he does become a little worried when left alone / if he can’t find his humans and he will pace around and cry, but he does eventually settle down. He is also quite sensitive to noise and can be spooked by loud or sudden sounds, so he would be best suited to a calm and quiet home. He hasn’t been too fussed by toys, but will chase string. He does have a good appetite and loves his food – he isn’t shy about letting you know when meal times are due! It is suspected that Percy has limited vision – although he doesn’t seem too fazed by this, he will need an understanding home who can cater to his needs. Due to his limited sight, he will also require an indoor-only home. Percy arrived into our care in quite a poor state after it was suspected that his owner had passed away and he’d been alone for a while. Thanks to the care and commitment of our dedicated team, particularly his foster carer, he has made a great recovery and is now ready to find his perfect forever home to retire in. We have no doubt this lovely lad will make an incredible addition to his forever family and will return their love and affection tenfold! Percy has limited vision and has some muscle loss in his hind legs. Whilst neither issue currently seems to be affecting him and no treatment is required at present, any potential rehomers should be aware that they will need ongoing monitoring and, if he were to have any future related issues, these will likely be classed as pre-existing conditions and won’t be covered by pet insurance. The rehoming team will discuss Percy’s veterinary history in further detail with any successful applicants.
