C'est Buba ! Elle est une jolie fille douce qui vivait autrefois comme un chien errant dans les rues de Macédoine. Elle a été capturée et amenée au refuge public pour stérilisation et vaccination. Elle devait être relâchée à nouveau pour vivre en chien errant, mais quand elle a testé positive pour la leishmaniose, cela a changé. La politique générale est que les chiens atteints de leishmaniose ne doivent pas être relâchés et s'ils ne sont pas adoptés, ils seront euthanasiés plus tard. Mais Buba va très bien et ne présente aucun symptôme lorsqu'elle est sous traitement, et comme ses chances d'être adoptée en Macédoine sont proches de zéro, son avenir semblait sombre. Heureusement, un refuge local a décidé de sauver la vie de Buba et de l'accueillir. Elle est là depuis longtemps maintenant en attendant d'être vue et nous voudrions l'aider à trouver la bonne maison ! Buba est une jeune fille incroyablement douce, amicale et gentille. Elle aime les gens et s'entend merveilleusement bien avec les autres chiens. Elle est d'âge moyen et son niveau d'activité est modéré, donc elle sera un merveilleux animal de compagnie familial, mais étant un croisé berger, elle s'épanouira le mieux dans une maison en milieu rural ou semi-rural avec un grand jardin et des espaces verts autour. En dehors de sa leishmaniose bien gérée, elle est en bonne santé. Elle est stérilisée, pucée, entièrement vaccinée et s'entend bien avec les gens et les chiens. Avec une introduction progressive, elle peut aussi vivre avec des chats.

This is Buba! She is a beautiful, sweet girl who used to live as a stray in the streets of Macedonia. She was caught and brought to the public shelter for spaying and vaccination. She was supposed to be released again to live as a stray, but when she tested positive for Leishmania this changed. The general policy is that dogs with Leishmania are not to be released and if they are not adopted, they will be euthanized sooner or later. But Buba is doing so well and shows no symptoms when she is on medication, and since her chances of being adopted in Macedonia are close to zero her future prospective looked bleak. Thankfully a local rescue shelter decided to save Buba’s life and take her in. She has been there for a long time now waiting to be seen and we would like to help her finding the perfect home! Buba is an amazingly sweet, friendly and gentle girl. She likes people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She is middle age and her activity level is medium, so she will be an amazing family pet, but being a large shepherd cross she will thrive best in a rural/semi rural home with a nice sized garden and green areas around. Apart from her well managed leishmania she is fit and healthy. She is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and gets along well with people and dogs. With gradual introduction she can also live with cats.
