Adopter Tiana

The beautiful and big Princess Tiana came into our care as she was found straying in Bristol; our incredible staff have really enjoyed getting to know this stunning Cane Corso Mastiff. Princess Tiana is a lovely big lap dog! She loves nothing more than a cuddle (on you!). Despite her size she does not care and loves showing you how much love she has for you – and she can sometimes forget her manners due to this (jumping up). She is very good for putting her harness on, just a bit wiggly at times. She isn’t too interested in playing with all toys at the moment, except squeaky toys and gets very excited but just wants to play with you instead! She enjoys training with treats and knows sit, paw and down. She walks beautifully on the lead, a bit pully when passing dogs but otherwise really good! Excited meeting women and wants to immediately be their new friend, with men can be a bit more distant but is good at making friends with them quickly. She can mouth and jump up when she gets overexcited – if you ignore her she calms down by herself and then will be normal again. She enjoys her food enrichment toys and can entertain herself with these. She is mainly dependent on people and would happily spend all day by your side but we are teaching her how to be more independent. She may be able to have play time with other dogs eventually, but previously has been very undersocialized so this will take time and patience. Princess Tiana is undoubtedly an amazing dog and she will make a great companion for the right home.
