A gentle, charming blue boy who found the sofa on his very first day and hasn't looked back. What his foster pawrents say: “Benny is an absolute gent and has already made himself right at home." Benny is a five-year-old blue boy who arrived in his Dublin foster home on 5th May, which also happened to be his birthday. Kennel life is behind him and sofa life has officially begun. First impressions? Gentle, calm and quietly confident. He found the couch in record time, which tells you everything you need to know about him. He's still taking in all the new sights and smells, as any newly arrived hound would be. But with foster hound Jenny by his side, he's settling in beautifully. Early signs suggest Benny and Jenny are going to be very good friends indeed. Benny arrived and immediately got on with the important business of being adored. He's calm, gentle and easy to be around, the kind of boy who makes himself at home without any fuss. Every greyhound in our care lives in a real home with an experienced foster family before adoption. This means that by the time you meet a RIGHT hound, they are already house-trained, used to home comforts and showing you exactly who they are. Our foster families give us a real picture of each hound's personality, routines and needs, so we can match the right hound with the right home. We also host regular meet and greet events across Ireland, giving you the chance to meet our hounds in a relaxed, friendly setting.
