After wandering for weeks in winter between the streets, fields, and banks of the Escaut River in Pecq with two other pigs, Cabu was taken in by Animaux en Péril in January 2015. Suffering from wires stuck in his snout to prevent him from digging the soil, an activity necessary for the well-being of pigs, he had to be operated on by our veterinarian upon arrival at the shelter to remove them. Very shy, he flees humans, but dominates the other pigs, especially when food is involved.

Après avoir erré pendant des semaines en hiver entre la voie publique, les champs et les rives de l'Escaut à Pecq avec deux autres cochons, Cabu a été recueilli par Animaux en Péril en janvier 2015. Affligé de fils de fer fichés dans le groin pour l'empêcher de fouiller le sol, activité pourtant nécessaire au bien-être des cochons, il a dû être opéré par notre vétérinaire dès son arrivée au refuge pour les lui enlever. Très farouche, il fuit les humains, mais domine les autres cochons, particulièrement quand de la nourriture est en jeu. Rue du Haut Aulnoy n°29, 7822 Meslin l'Evêque
