About Cabu
After wandering for weeks in winter between the highway, fields and banks of the Scheldt in Pecq with two other pigs, Cabu was collected by Animals in Peril in January 2015. Afflicted with iron wires in the grove to prevent him from searching the ground, an activity necessary for the well-being of pigs, he had to be operated by our veterinarian as soon as he arrived at the shelter to remove them. Après avoir erré pendant des semaines en hiver entre la voie publique, les champs et les rives de l'Escaut à Pecq avec deux autres cochons, Cabu a été recueilli par Animaux en Péril en janvier 2015. Affligé de fils de fer fichés dans le groin pour l'empêcher de fouiller le sol, activité pourtant nécessaire au bien-être des cochons, il a dû être opéré par notre vétérinaire dès son arrivée au refuge pour les lui enlever.
