To put it bluntly: In the first few months of her life, Diva was in the wrong hands. Apparently, her owners didn’t teach her anything and soon found themselves overwhelmed by her—no surprise there. Rather than making an effort or enrolling her in dog training, they simply handed “their problem” over to us. At first, she was incredibly hyper and wild, but with the help of our dog walkers, she learned a lot and eventually found a forever home. Actually, everything was fine—she got along wonderfully with her new people and was absolutely friendly. She also behaved superbly on the leash; she’s smart and learns very quickly. She still isn’t quite comfortable being left alone yet. Unfortunately, though, she just couldn’t get along with cats at all. She wouldn’t leave them alone, and things weren’t ideal even with the resident dog, as food jealousy always seemed to play a role. Now we’re once again looking for a home for Diva—without cats. Absolutely without cats. She’s playful and cuddly, travels well in the car, continues to learn something new every day, and longs for active people who’ll spend plenty of time with her and keep her mentally and physically stimulated. Um es auf den Punkt zu bringen: Diva war in den ersten Monaten ihres Lebens in den falschen Händen. Die Besitzer brachten ihr anscheinend nichts bei und waren dann nach einiger Zeit mit ihr überfordert – was nicht überraschend ist. Anstatt sich zu bemühen oder eine Hundeschule zu besuchen, gaben sie „ihr Problem” bei uns ab. Anfangs war sie super aufgedreht und wild, aber mit Hilfe unserer Gassigänger hat sie viel gelernt und wurde schließlich vermittelt. Eigentlich war auch alles in Ordnung, mit ihren neuen Menschen hat sie sich super verstanden und war absolut freundlich. An der Leine benahm sie sich auch super, sie ist klug und lernt sehr schnell. Alleine bleiben kann sie noch nicht wirklich gut. Leider vertrug sie sich aber absolut nicht mit den Katzen. Sie ließ sie nicht in Ruhe und auch mit der vorhandenen Hündin war es nicht ideal, da spielte immer etwas Futterneid mit. Nun suchen wir erneut einen Platz für Diva – ohne Katzen. Ohne Katzen. Sie ist verspielt und verschmust, fährt gut im Auto mit, lernt täglich dazu und wünscht sich aktive Menschen, die viel mit ihr unternehmen und sie auslasten.
