Malu jelenleg egy Fuerteventura-i menhelyen van, és hamarosan elutazik a szárazföldre, ahol egy a hibrid nevelő/kutyamenhelyek egyikénél fogunk dolgozni. Ezután lehetőséget kap arra, hogy hozzászokjon a házias élethez szükséges dolgokhoz, ami segít neki alkalmazkodni, mielőtt örökbe fogadják. Ő egy nagyon kedves kislány, aki nagyon megérdemli egy végleges otthon. Ő, mint sok podenco, kissé félénk és tartózkodó az emberekkel kezdetben, de ha megismer és megbízik benned, akkor megnyílik. Jó a különböző méretű kutyákkal, és bár nem hisszük, hogy szüksége lenne egy másik kutyatársra otthon, a kissé félénkebb kutyáknak segíthet, hogy gyorsabban megnyíljon. Szeretnénk, ha lenne kertje, és nem gondoljuk, hogy alkalmas lenne a belvárosra, de egy kisvárosban jól érzi magát. Malu ivartalanítva van, beoltva és negatív a mediterrán betegségekre. Malu is currently in a shelter in Fuerteventura and will be making the trip to the mainland soon where she will head to one of the hybrid foster/kennel set ups we work with there. She’ll then get an opportunity to start to get used to all the things that come with living in a home which will help her adjust before she is adopted. She is a really sweet girl who is very deserving of a forever home. She, like many podencos, is a little shy and aloof with humans initially but once she knows and trusts you, she comes round, She is good with dogs of all sizes and whilst we don’t think she needs another doggy companion in the home, with dogs that can be a little more shy initially, it can help them to come round a bit quicker. We’d love her to have a garden to enjoy and don’t think she’d be suitable for a city centre, but would be fine in a town. Malu will be neutered and is vaccinated and tested negative for Mediterranean diseases. She is passported and available for adoption now.
